We visited Elysium on a warm, sunny day and couldn’t have picked a better spot to unwind. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt inviting with quaint décor, little pots of greenery on the tables, and a lovely blend of natural light and accent lighting. Whether you choose to sit inside or enjoy the charming outdoor café tables under umbrellas and a larger canopy, it’s the kind of place that makes you want to stay longer with a good book and a great drink. The friendly ladies all said hello upon our entry.

We started with an iced mocha, and it was absolutely fabulous. Perfectly chilled, with rich chocolate drizzled throughout and on top, nailing the balance between coffee and cocoa. A true treat.

The classic ham and cheese crêpe was a standout, beautifully presented with a creamy sauce and fresh greens on top that added both flavor and visual appeal. The taste was flawlessly blended, making it a definite “order again” favorite.

We also tried the bacon, ham, and cheese sandwich, which was equally delicious. The fresh tomato and greens added a bright, flavorful contrast to the savory meats and cheese, creating a satisfying bite.

A Hidden Gem Just Opened!

I had the pleasure of visiting Elysium Café on their opening day, and wow—what an incredible experience from start to finish! The ambiance is warm, elegant, and welcoming, with tasteful décor that feels both cozy and refined. You can immediately tell that a lot of love and thought went into creating this space.

I tried one of their signature crepes and paired it with a cappuccino—and both were absolutely delicious. The crepe was light, perfectly cooked, and filled with fresh, flavorful ingredients. The coffee was rich and aromatic, easily one of the best I’ve had in a while.

The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure everyone felt comfortable and well taken care of, despite it being their first day. It already feels like a place where locals and visitors alike will gather, relax, and enjoy great food in a beautiful atmosphere.

They’ve only been open a couple of weeks, but they have easily earned five star reviews! We love it ! The staff is friendly and very attentive. It’s obvious that everything is made and served with great care! Whether we had coffee, smoothies, sandwiches or crepes, it’s all been delicious and super fresh! Still working through the menu trying something new each time and trying to figure out what our favorites are!! The interior design is beautiful and very inviting. I am happy to see them so busy and to have such a wonderful new place in our neighborhood. We can walk, ride or bike to this place. It’s very close to the Avon Lake Library, and also the Kopf Metropark trails. Today was a truly spectacular weather day to enjoy Elysium’s outdoor covered pavilion with the lake breeze and sunshine!
