Yesterday, around 1:20 pm, I received a pizza that I had purchased through Uber Eats. My surprise was noticing a specific piece of plastic inside the mouth when eating a second slice. I perfectly ordered my 3 year old son to stop eating, after having already eaten a few pieces. Who knows if he ingested a piece of plastic without realizing it, which makes me very worried. At the same time, I contacted Uber Eats support, who easily resolved the situation and by the end of yesterday my money had been returned. However, I write this comment as a way of expressing my deep indignation and how much I still feel harmed by the establishment in question, as I worry if there were other imperceptible plastics in the food and, worse, if my little one ingested some of them. . Unfortunately this is my first and last time here. I wish I would have listened to the yelp and google reviews on customer service. I never wrote a review before but I almost feel compelled to do so. I drove all the way from Randolph to order food just to be insulted by the "owner" for asking her was she going to put gloves while cooking my food. I've never experienced a business owner get so irate as quickly as she did. She immediately told me to take my money and go and not to come back that I insulted her for asking that. I ordered a large pizza. They had it delivered to a homeless shelter without calling me. The pizza sat downstairs in the lobby for 20 minutes without me know it was there. I called and asked why no one called me because the pizza was cold. They said they’d only make it right if I returned the pizza that my 5 year old had started eating. I said she already was eating it she likes cold pizza but I don’t. The manager was very rude and cussed at me multiple times. She told me to shut my mouth and that I talk too much even though it’s literally her job to take care of the customer. As far as the pizza goes it was cold and cheaply made.
