Avon Cabin Cafe — Restaurant in Avon

The only good thing I can say is that the decor is cute. When we walked in we were greeted with "I'll be with you when I can." Not professional or customer friendly at all. Waited about 5 minutes for a table to be cleared and seated. Then waited about another 10 minutes with zero service (not even offered or given a glass of water). The waitress walked by our table multiple times while she cashed out other tables from start to finish and never once stopped to ask us what we would like to drink, take our order, apologize for the wait, or even acknowledge our presence. Probably would have given better stars, especially for service, but we arrived and got a table right away around 9:20am Sunday. It was busy, but several patrons left shortly after we arrived. More came in after us, likely regulars. We ordered before 9:30am. Waited for 40 minutes even after letting the server know we needed to be at church by 10:15. I really liked this place, easy food, friendly sevice, clean and simple. I don't often get up this way, but I had business in town. And it was lunch time by the time I was done and I looked around for a cute place to eat and I had a choice between a one-off cafe, or McDonald's. I chose the one-off Cafe. As I am always inclined to do because I really hate and despise going to chain and or corporate restaurants. I like to keep it local regardless of where local is.
