I wanted to take my family out to dinner for Father’s Day (the day after)and this was usually one of our favorite spots to be at . I called ahead and tried to make a reservation but was told they were not taking any and I even asked if they were busy or not...I was told no ...so we showed up with all 10 of us. We wore our masks inside and were greeted with a nice lady who said they can only do groups of 8 which we completely understand since the whole covid-19 , so we agreed all the kids can sit at one table and the adults at the other . Let me remind you there was maybe 2 tables inside the whole restaurant...Well then another lady came and was extremely upset we were there . She had such a hostile attitude towards us , making us all put on hand sanitizer before even being sat ..(which makes no sense because it’s on the wall and you have to touch and press in order to get some...so everyone is touching the same area ) lol but we did with no problem . She then told us “ you can only sit 5 & 5” when 8 is their limit so what...? & let me just say I’m a server myself so I understand getting 10 people all at once can be frustrating but there was no business already...and being a server that is entirely your job...? She was rolling her eyes the entire time when trying to sit us and you can tell she was so aggravated, she tried sitting the adults in a whole different room from the kids and was aggressively putting the menus on the tables continuing to roll her eyes ...We all felt so uncomfortable because they have never been like this towards us , she made us feel unwanted and embarrassed.. Finally my boyfriend told her “ if this is gonna be such a problem we can just go somewhere else” and she goes “ it’s up to you” with so much attitude..so we ended up leaving because of her entire attitude and hostility towards us. We were pretty loyal customers to this place but won’t ever be returning because of that one lady ..& yes one lady can make a huge difference. Service is everything when it comes to restaurants especially when we were being so friendly and apologetic about being such a big group . Just thought I’d leave a review and I don’t ever leave these but it really upsets me because we were embarrassed just trying to have a nice family dinner for Father’s Day .Id like to add we went to Arribas and they were very welcoming and it was allowed 10 to a group! Food was amazing and service was awesome . Definitely found our replacement for this place . Bummer because this was always a favorite but has definitely...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars I would. Worst experience ever! My hubby and I took our son and daughter-in-law here for dinner the day after Christmas. It was virtually empty except for a few tables. We were completely ignored for at least 10 minutes by every single employee that walked by. When we were finally acknowledged we were asked for our name and she wrote it on the list even though there were empty tables everywhere. We waited an additional five minutes and were taken to a dirty table. The girl that seated us literally threw the menus on the table instead of handing them to us. We waited & waited while once again being ignored. We noticed there was a young man standing over by the bar area who appeared to be folding napkins. I’m not sure why because restaurant was virtually empty. We finally had a waitress stop by to take our order. She was not very friendly but took our order. We waited quite awhile just to get water, chips & salsa. Since our table was dirty. we asked to move to a booth. No apologies were offered for seating us at a dirty table. When our food arrived mine was missing part of my order. Both my daughter in law and I ordered the taquitos which are usually deep fried but these were not and had no flavor. Oh did I mention we had to ask for silverware & napkins which were handed to me over the side of our booth. Food was awful. No flavor. What a disappointing experience and the most unfriendly staff I’ve ever encountered. Dirty tables. We will NEVER return. And we were charged for the enchiladas that we never got. My advice is don’t go here unless you want to be treated badly, eat food with no flavor and get charged for food you don’t receive. It would be nice if they could greet customers with a smile and at least acknowledge you but I guess that’s too...
Read moreIt is so sad that this place has continued to go downhill for the past year. I used to like this place for the food even though the service could be spotty at best. Two times we ate here durring football season and both times our server was more interested in the games then serving us. When we learned that they would be changing owners we thought to ourselves, " the service will finally improve" and we had high hopes. We would eat here once a week but, I dont think I will ever return. Its one thing to have poor service such as never getting a refill on soda or chips, waiting 15 mintues after you have finished eating for a bill, or food coming out completely wrong, IF the food is great, but, it is whole differant story when the food is far below average. First they messed up our order so bad everyones order was completely opposite of what we ordered. Then we waited another 25 minutes for our food to come out. My wife loved their enchiladas and my son loved their carne asda fries and both of them were very disappointed when they came out. The enchiladas tasted very bland now and the fries came out on a piece of foil with melted cheddar and a sprinkle of meat. I had a chorizo and egg burrito that tasted like they used bleach water in the eggs and the chorizo was burnt to a crisp. We would have had much better food at Fredricos or Filibertos or any other food truck/trailer. Now that the service is even worse then it was before, the food is sub par for even fast food, and now to top it off it they raised the prices I hive them 6 months to a year before they go out of business or they have new owners again. I feel bad because my entire neighborhood used to love going to this place but now all of us are on the search for another small business to give our...
