For the first time ever, I feel like writing a review is a must. Overall the experience I had tonight at this sonic location was unforgettable to say the least. To start, I placed my online order at roughly 6:47pm after 40 min I arrived to pick it up. Once at the window I let the person on the other end know I was picking up an online order, the girl then says another name before I say my name. I tell her my name to which she almost instantly lets me know they have no order and that there is nothing she can do.. confused I ask how itās possible she canāt see my order when I have the online order on my phone and also the confirmation, I also ask her to look at both since itās really odd that sheās instantly just defaulting to ā thereās nothing I can do, you have to call the customer service numberā. After some back and forth, mostly filled with her asking me if it was a mobile order and me repeating it was an online order not mobile I ask her to give me the number I need to call and she respond with āif it know, whatever website you ordered from, youāll have to get it from thereā. At this point I clarify and ask her that even though both the online order screen shot and the email confirmation are useless since she doesnāt see it on her end but the location information is all correct, she says yes, I canāt to anything on my end. I ask her for a manager and when she comes out it sounds like the same person, but regardless I ask her how itās possible that I have to ways to confirm the order but all they keep telling me is that they donāt see it and nothing can be done. Absolutely nothing. This āmanagerātells me that the order was placed at another location to which I tell her it was not placed at another location and show her the confirmation. I ask her for the store number since it is also listed and she replies ā I donāt know itā, after her still not really saying anything helpful and seeming still confused she finally tells me to pull up. Nothing else is said until she comes back out with my exact order in a bag closed, with my receipt and name and the time it was completed, which was at 7:06pm. I never provided her with even the order number since according to her it wouldnāt help. Iām not sure what was going on but hopefully they get Trained better to at least TRY to problem solve or speak with more information and assistance, instead of brushing someone off when they have...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI placed an order on my app, went to pick up my order, I parked on a stall because thatās what the app says, again I canāt check in so I press the button, the girl said I need to go trough the drive thru apparently this is how you should you do. When I get to the window, the manager Michael said their ice cream machine itās not working, that he cancelled my order and Iām going to get my money back 5 to 7 business day, OBVIOUSLY. Now Iām headed to a different location but canāt placed another order because thereās already an order on my app. So I call customer service let them know whatās going on and sheās asking me all these questions to refund my money when Iām not trying to do that. I just wanted that order to be removed in order for me to place a different one, But this person didnāt even help.
First, If a location doesnāt have ice cream they should be able to put it on the app for people not to placed an order and having to drive (gas is not cheap) Second, when you the customer service rep what you are calling for, they should try helping you, instead of asking for all the wrong info and waste your time. And just like I told her, it took an hour for nothing to be resolved. Third, if you hear my frustration and hearing me placed another order at least a 20% would of been nice. We came in and we placed a huge order A little over $50. It was for our kids and most of it required it to be deep fried. The manager came out and he apologized and said heāll cover our drinks and refund the money. Finally, after waiting forever the drinks come out and when I get home Iāll look at the receipt and he did not refund the money as promised, he basically just refunded the food that he didnāt provide for us. We had other food on there that didnāt need to be fired, but he talked us out of getting anything to eat so that the staff would just have to make drinks because he didnāt wanna be bothered. Fast forward to today the deep fryer is down again. Is this a coincidence or did he just not want to cook deep fried food? Did he just not want to be bothered with the deep fryer? This time I got a refund in cash for the food that needed to be deep-fried. The customer service is hit or miss here and if you come early in the morning donāt pull up to one of the stalls because they donāt wanna walk out there going to direct you to go through the drive-through.
