My frequent visits to First Watch have consistently been a delightful journey into the world of breakfast culinary excellence, marked by a diverse menu, friendly service, and a warm ambiance. However, to provide a comprehensive review, it's essential to address a nuanced concern that has occasionally interrupted an otherwise positive experience - the cleanliness of the establishment.

First Watch has rightfully earned its reputation as a stellar breakfast destination, offering a wide array of dishes crafted with fresh and high-quality ingredients. The commitment to a menu that caters to a spectrum of preferences, from classic favorites to inventive and health-conscious options, sets First Watch apart in the breakfast scene. The culinary execution, characterized by robust flavors and meticulous presentation, consistently delivers a satisfying breakfast experience.

The ambiance at First Watch is another highlight, characterized by a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. The interior design, with its contemporary yet cozy aesthetic, contributes to an environment that is suitable for various dining occasions. It's a place where patrons can savor a leisurely breakfast, catch up with friends, or embark on a solo culinary journey.

However, the issue of cleanliness has occasionally surfaced. While the dining area is generally well-maintained, certain instances have revealed areas that could benefit from more meticulous attention. Tables, chairs, and certain surfaces have, on occasion, shown signs of use that might have gone unnoticed during the rush of peak dining hours.

Maintaining a consistently high level of cleanliness is imperative, especially in a restaurant that prides itself on providing a quality dining experience. Attention to detail in this regard would ensure that patrons are not only delighted by the scrumptious breakfast offerings but also enjoy their meals in an environment that reflects the same commitment to excellence.

In conclusion, First Watch remains an exceptional breakfast destination that excels in culinary offerings and ambiance. The cleanliness concerns, while occasional, highlight an area for improvement. Addressing these concerns promptly would contribute to a more seamless and enjoyable dining experience for patrons. With a continued focus on culinary excellence and an added emphasis on maintaining a pristine environment, First Watch has the potential to reinforce its standing as a premier breakfast...

We love dining at First Watch. The food at this restaurant is always delicious, satisfying, and served in generous portions. They use only the freshest ingredients sourced from local suppliers. We tried the seasonal "Spring" menu for drinks on our recent visit. We were delighted with the Honey Caramel Crunch Iced Coffee, a perfect blend of flavors, and the Tropical Sunrise juice was a refreshing and delicious new addition to the menu. The juice was made from fresh mango, pineapple, strawberry, and lime and tasted well-balanced.

We ordered the Tri-Fecta waffle for our main courses, which was light, fluffy, and perfectly balanced with a sweet and salty taste from the blueberry syrup and chicken sausage patty. We also tried the Elevated Egg Sandwich on a Brioche Bun, a healthy and delicious option made with egg, bacon, Gruyere cheese, and avocado. The Works Omelet was another one of our favorites, and it was made perfectly with ham, bacon, sausage, house-roasted Crimini mushrooms, onions, and tomatoes with Cheddar and Monterey Jack. It came with mixed greens, a healthy and tasty choice.

Despite a minor mishap—our server accidentally spilled a juice cup on our table—the service at First Watch was commendable. He repeatedly returned to our table to apologize for the incident, demonstrating the restaurant's commitment to customer satisfaction. We also appreciated the attention to detail, such as the fact that the drinking water served was not from tap, a rarity in many other establishments.

First Watch has undoubtedly earned a spot among our top breakfast destinations. The menu offers health-conscious and indulgent options, ensuring something for everyone. We're already looking forward to our next visit and eager to explore more of their...

I love First Watch and specifically chose to come today for the consistently fresh, well made dishes I've come to appreciate at First Watch. We are also visiting in the area - we don't live nearby anymore. This was not an exceptional eating experiences today. The restaurant had about 10 tables seated when we arrived just after noon. We had to wait about 5 minutes for anyone to acknowledge we were waiting for a table - there was no hostess at the front. We were seated and able to order fairly quickly, but then waited over 15 minutes for the food to arrive. It was only two of us and our order was fairly simple and off the menu. So surprising that we got our food after a table seated close by to us got theirs. Surprising because they came in about 10 minutes after we did. Our waiter seemed somewhat inexperienced, so we tried to chalk it up to that but and the food finally did arrive. We didn't see him for another 10 or 15 minutes nor was anybody else who worked there accessible. As I got up to use the restroom, I realized that most of the tables where there weren't people seated were covered with dirty dishes. Obviously, there seemed to be a staffing issue today, but I noticed that other tables were getting much more personalozed service, and levels that I'm used to seeing at First Watch restaurant's generally, than we were. This wasn't a bad experience, but it was much less exceptional than it usually is, hence the rating today. I may not choose First Watch so quickly next time, but I'll likely be back because, like I said, there are few restaurants like it where you can get good whole fresh Foods...

Terrible experience on Sunday, May 5th around 1pm. Came in to pick up an online order that was supposed to be ready for pick up at 1:10 according to the order confirmation. Upon arrival the man I asked for the status on my order, responded with I don’t know and when it’s ready it will be on the shelf and didn’t seem to care to help after walking away. Another man who appeared to be the manager came to me and was more helpful and asked me if he could help me now 10 minutes after the order was supposed to be ready. He went to the kitchen and came back to let me know it was almost ready. Another woman was standing at the carry out/checkout area this entire time on her phone and never once looked up to offer help. Now another 5-10 minutes later my husband and I look up on the shelf to see our order so 3 people in this restaurant knew that we are waiting for our order and not one person could hand it to us but instead put it on a shelf and said nothing… I proceeded to grab the bag and a coffee that was hidden behind the bag falls off the shelf and spills all over the floor with 3 employees standing at the hostess stand staring at me and again not one person offered to help clean it up, one woman even gave me a dirty look. After getting to the car, we realized the order was wrong and the iced coffee was 90% ice. Overall just really bad customer service with very few people who seem to care. Food was also cold and poor quality. Definitely would recommend trying other breakfast spots in town before this place.

I wanted to start a new tradition of going to breakfast before taking my son to the airport and I stumbled upon First Watch. The reviews in Fairfax were incredible but it wasn’t close to the airport so we went to the Bailey’s Crossroads location instead. We were the first to arrive and we were greeted by the manager, we told him we were dining prior to going to the airport and he made our visit top priority. Our server was friendly, attentive and made our experience perfect. Did I forget to tell you the look of the restaurant?! I’m going to describe it as Pottery Barn cool. Enough said. We wanted to start with the Gingerbread Spice Donuts 🍩 but they didn’t come out ahead of our meal. With customer service being top priority here, the manager quickly told me the donuts were on him. Wow, that’s cool! The donuts were definitely worth the wait. The perfect blend of cinnamon and ginger made this the hit of breakfast. Too bad this isn’t a year round thing. The seasonal menu was worth a try. We ordered the Sunny Seoul Hash which was a Korean inspired dish that included spiced pork and Kimchi. The unique blend of flavors was AMAZING and absolutely delicious! Next was the Belgium waffle, cheese eggs and turkey sausage and the Cinnamon Chip Pancake with Bacon 🥓. Both A++. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Definitely a must visit in NOVA! The menu did have an array of breakfast cocktails that I will try next visit!
