S'huckins Lobstah — Restaurant in Baileyville

This is a casual roadside shack. They serve a variety of food with a lot of seafood dishes. From what we observed, their ice cream is very popular with many different flavors. This is basically a fast food joint. You place the order and wait for your number to be called to pick up the food. I ordered a small haddock basket (one piece of haddock with French fries and coleslaw) and my husband ordered a large haddock basket (2 pieces of haddock with French fries and coleslaw). The bill came to $40, which I consider pricey for fast food. The haddock tasted good and the portion was reasonable. The French fries were also good but the coleslaw had a sweet taste to it. There is an outside seating Pavillon which is quite nice. We had to wait about 25 minutes for our food. We don't think we will be back because of the long wait...

Shuckin’s Lobster – A Hidden Gem at the End of the Airline

Shuckin’s Lobster is absolutely amazing. Tucked right at the end of the Airline (Rt. 9), it’s an easy in-and-out stop—just keep an eye out for the Route 1 speedsters flying by.

The food? Incredible. Generous portions, fresh and flavorful, with something on the menu for everyone. It gets busy (for good reason), but the crew hustles hard and keeps things moving. Be patient—it’s so worth the wait.

And whatever you do, don’t leave without trying the blueberry lemonade. It's the perfect sweet-and-tart companion to a lobster roll or fried clams, and it’ll cool you right off on a hot summer day. Absolute chef’s kiss.

wife ordered 1 pint clams, i ordered scallop plate , 1 piece fish , 20 ounce soda $48.50 american $63.00 canadian , clams were good nicely cooked 18 in all , not quite enough in my opinion. shes no a big eater and she was still hungry. the fish was very very dry must be old fish wife ate 1/4 of it gave the rest to dog, he would ,t eat it ? my plate had 20 french fries , the scallops were over cooked x3, no noticeable batter they were so browned the next stage would have been black very dry . the only reason im giving it 2 stars is because the waiting staff were good and clams were good but not enough...
