We were in the area and needed a place to each lunch. A friend had said they had the best barbecue. It's not the fanciest looking place but the barbecue is out of this world. I got the jumbo bbq plate with bake beans and fried. Hands down the most wonderful and amazing barbecue around. I'm getting married this next month and they are gonna cater bbq at our wedding!

Lamar's has some of the best BBQ & fried catfish with hush puppies and fried okra. I'm from Wisconsin and was in Mississippi visiting, I've been here to eat twice in the last 7days. Good finger licking slab of ribs & they taste just as good the next day. I'll always come from Wisconsin to visit this place from now on.

We were in the area and needed a place to each lunch. A friend had said they had the best barbecue. It's not the fanciest looking place but the barbecue is out of this world. Lamar's has some of the best BBQ & fried catfish with hush puppies and fried okra. I'm from Wisconsin and was in Mississippi visiting, I've been here to eat twice in the last 7days. Good finger licking slab of ribs & they taste just as good the next day. I'll always come from Wisconsin to visit this place from now on.
