Stopped in for a quick lunch before meeting at Sheriff's office. About 4 tables had patrons seated outside. Which is a nice area and view of main st. I ordered one gyro and a Pepsi; that was $15.00 before tip. A person come in and asks if they allow dogs on the patio? The cashier asked what size they were, then allowed it. The guy didn't say he had 2 dogs, which barked at every other dog going by, the owners were clueless. I waited 30 minutes to get my small gyro, with pita chips. YUM! Stopped for a late lunch. Service was prompt and friendly. The chicken kebab was amazing. The chicken was so tender and juicy—I can’t figure out the secret. Tabbouleh salad was fresh, could taste the mint and I loved the twist of quinoa in place of bulgur. I did the grab and go window so I can’t really comment on the vibe but it has a fun industrial, tap room sort of feel. Great place to grab a meal. I’ll be back. Woo hoo Balsam! Have eaten here 4 times this summer. This is my favorite restaurant in Polk County. The tabouli is freaks and very tasty. Lebanese style with lots of parsley a d very fresh. The pitas… they were good but I think they were tortillas. I get the chicken tabouli, the chicken is very well seasoned, and moist. Really good.
