895 Grill — Restaurant in Baltimore

This use to be me and my wife spot. We called it the whole in the wall. Whenever we did not feel like cooking we got something from here because the location is convenient. My wife loves the chicken cheesesteaks. That was until she bit in to a bread tie inside her sub. We know mistakes could happen so we called and spoke to a female who stated she would refund us for the sub because they couldn’t make another one because the store was closing. Cool. Next week we decided to order delivery and use the money that would be refunded ($11). We ordered $30 worth of food and wanted to use the refund but the Manager said it was a no go and we couldn’t do that 🤔. We had to pay full price. He wasn’t trying to hear anything about last week and wasn’t trying to refund the full $11 and suggested $6 🤯 . We immediately went to the store to get our refund of $11. His attitude was ridiculous. Luckily the girl from last week wrote my wife name and refund amount down and stuck it on the wall or he would have tried to give us $6. This review isn’t about the money but the customer service from one staff member that made us decide to never patronize this business again. We were willing to still patronize this business after a bread tie was found but because of bad customer service...

I used to love the food there. I would order from them quite often. Well me and my wife order food on Friday night. We ordered two subs large fry and gravy and four of the rice puddings . We always get 2 subs and we split them so we can eat the other one the next night. But when we took a bite of our sub tasted sour so we gave that sub to the dogs we ate the fries Anna rice pudding I called them up Saturday morning and told them they told me to bring this up down because all I wanted was a sub to be remade in case it was something wrong with that one too so I went down me and my son and just ask for the sub to be remade that was all didn't want money and the gentleman that the grill proceeded to give me an attitude and tell me that I was basically a liar screaming at me I said that I was just there trying to get something for free I already paid for the subs I didn't want money I just wanted to sub remade he took the money basically threw it at me and told me to get out and they would never serve me again and I was being polite make the most of family I don't think that's right and I will never order from there again and neither...

Friend of mines bought Cheesesteak Combos. Prices not bad. They seem Cool & Friendly. It is a small South B- more Carryout Dive. Clean inside. They give you a LOT of food; you really get your money's worth. I love that my food was NOT over-salted ..but there wasn't much flavor; cheese steak was cooked decently, was HUGE, tasted alright but not the best, was not dry, and unlike some other places you can actually SEE the mayo, cheese, lettuce, & tomato, fried onions,+ PLENTY of MEAT.The Shrimp Steak Sub has fairly big shrimp on it. Fries were just OK ( seem to have been fried in older oil that tasted somewhat oniony and like other foods, rubbery, fries were in little bits & pieces) and we got A LOT of them that went in the trash.😐 Enough Food for leftovers. Brooklyn MD, yeah you already know it's Sketchy over here as is much of Baltimore and even certain parts of Glen Burnie/ Curtis Bay and other County areas now ...but don't let that deter you from getting sum...
