This “restaurant”is located in a very small town with limited options on a place to eat, that has any type of quality regarding. good customer service, good food, cleanliness and prices are expected to be a little higher due to many reasons. After that being said…. I ate here 2 times. The first time I decided to never go back because the Alfredo sauce was unlike anything I have ever tried, it was chunky and oily (for real), but one day, I was feeling desperate and I decided to try it again. I chose to order spaghetti(how can anyone mess up spaghetti?), and what I got was an OILY mess, seriously!!!!! Orange oil!!!! that met my compost pile and then made myself an egg sandwich. The customer service wasn’t bad but …. It could have been worse….There will be no 3rd try. But in a town like this, maybe this business will succeed. It’s clear that quality isn’t something that should be expected in a dying town. In all fairness, I did a little search to find out what would possibly cause greasy oil on pasta sauces and I am including a screenshot of what I found. So my suggestion to anyone wanting to eat at this place, maybe try the salads, pizza and sandwiches. Or possibly the frozen food section at DG. And I would like to add something about me. I never make a scene, I never ask for something to be taken back. I am polite and leave. And I am definitely not rude to any staff...
Read moreI went with the chicken florentine for my 1st visit! The pasta and chicken breast were both cooked perfectly and the cream sauce with mushrooms onions spinach and garlic was so good, it'll roll your eyes back in your head. Also some of the best garlic bread ever.. have since had pretty much everything and it's all phenomenal. The service is on point, and the chef even said hello. Marita and Alisa are both wonderful on every visit . I'd definitely recommend this place and very happy they joined us out here in the woods. 10/10 from me!

Mom and pop spaghetti shop on the side of the hill with Michelin restaurant prices.
The food isn't that great. The prices are extremely high. A lot of the dishes are actually pre-cooked or packaged. Ingredients for the handmade items have been witnessed being purchased at the local Dollar General. In a botched attempt to create a romantic atmosphere, to walk into the place even midday is to walk into a rather foreboding and dark scene.
If there is a mafia in Lakehills, they've probably killed somebody there. Or at least punished them with a meal and then made them pay the bill.
