My family and I arrive at 7:15 to get dinner after a long day of traveling. After ordering 2 dinners, 2 tacos, and a single Large horchata with two waters the total was just under $54. While we ordered a LARGE horchata, the lady proceeded to ask her coworker if they even had enough for a large; they did. After sitting for a couple minutes, the lady starts to bring out three horchata. This is not even close to what we ordered nor does that make sense with two adults and two kids under 4 to get that much. Keep in mind that was the most disgusting, powdery tasting "hortchata" since it was rushed to be made. AND it was served without ice and halfway cold. Disgusting. For the food, I ordered a barbacoa dinner meal. Mine came out first, even before the two tacos we ordered for the kids. I started to pull apart my barbacoa and discovered it was just warmed up and not warmed up enough. Instead of eating half warmed up barbacoa, I asked for my money back. I don't want to eat an "AUTHENTIC" Mexican restaurant with warmed up food; I paid $15 for the meal. So between the obvious hortchata mess up, warmed up barbacoa, and my kids French fries being rushed, we asked for my wife's meal to go. Once her meal came out, we carried the food out to the car just as we always carry food; safe and level. My wife sits down in the car and as soon as she opens up her meal this is how it was presented. My wife would not drop it or carry it unbalanced since she was hungry and wanted to keep her $18 meal from getting messed up. She took ever precaution to carry it gently and this is what she got. I would not recommend going to this place later in the evening since it was very rushed and the staff did not want to be open. $54 later and I still had to go purchase dinner elsewhere after this fiasco. Over priced and not authentic.

Delicious. We had low expectations, but we're truly surprised!!! The tamales were amazing They tasted amazing. Best tamales I've had. The beans were just like regular beans but better and the rice was well, rice :). The carne asada was delicious and really made our day. The only drawback is that the place feels over decorated but that doesn't really matter because when you eat you should focus on the people that you are eating with. People are nice if I could rate the atmosphere 4.5 I would but whatever.

The place is far from being a flashy front nothing in, it is the complete opposite, you don't knpw where you're going, you hit that place, nothing big or to impress on the looks, but the food is really good and definately worth the detour. Me and my wife both enjoyed our food and drink. We even had a little laugh.

I had the Barbacoas with rice, refried beans, onions and some lettuce. I had the mildest sauce. It came with 4 small soft tortillas. I could have eaten 1 possibly 2 more tortillas as I had enough of my meal left for that amount but I would have been too stuffed to drive.

I finished my meal off with putting it on top of the homemade tortilla chips. So I'd say the amount was perfect for a long comfortable drive home.

Definitely comfort food, easily priced, service was good. I'd give it 4.5 stars as I would love some garden salsa with no heat, just Chile powder. I missed having tomato's onions and other things in the salsa. Fresh guacamole would have...
