Rosati's Pizza — Restaurant in Bannockburn

I’ve been ordering from this location for years & always was delighted with the food & service until today. I called in, placed my order and she said it’ll be ready in 25 minutes. I got there by the pick up time and stood there for a good 5 minutes with no response at all. Restaurant had about 4 people in there that were serviced & eating so I didn’t see why I hadn’t yet received even a hello be right with you. I could hear the workers in the back having a nice time which is fine yet at least come acknowledge your customer.

So I called the restaurant & the lady answered then said here I come. She comes out with no apology & just asked for my payment. Then I sat down around an additional ten minutes went by & she proceeded to come through the door & was amazed to see me still sitting there so she goes in the back & comes out with pizza & says thanks for coming in. Still no apology for the poor service and the nerve to have forgotten I’ve been in the restaurant way over the time I was told my pizza would be ready.

I leave to bring the pizza to the kiddos, open it up and had a very well done burnt pizza that was not edible at all & I just find this experience to be beyond horrible and rude. I know mistakes happen yet this wasn’t no mistake and isn’t right especially when someone is spending their money and was looking forward to...

I wanted this to be good, but there's not much good to say. We went on a Thursday night, 5 of us. It was not very busy, but there seemed to be only one waitress/bartender on duty. Service was slow and served with a side of "I don't really want to help you, but it's my job" from the not so nice woman that I'm sure has been mentioned in other reviews. Usually if you're by yourself you say, "please bare with me..." but she offered no apologies for her lengthy response times and curtness. My son waited over 20 minutes for his mixed drink because she told him he ordered just a soda, not. We ordered a 16 inch plain thin crust pie, which was ok. We also ordered two cannolis, they were fresh stuffed and pretty good. Overall it was a very disappointing dinner and we couldn't wait to get out of there. Definitely would not recommend this...

Great service, great food. Pizza was tasty and fulfilling. I am a picky person with pizza as I love it a lot, next to my cheeseburgers. The pizza was on key with the flavors and the smell of the right amount of spices that get you ready to bite in. Once you bite in you enjoyed the flavors and not taken over by the pizza sauce. The chicken salad my wife order was excellent to her liking. Was presented as if you were at a fine dining restaurant downtown Chicago. The service was friendly and had your drink ready before you even knew it. Overall, I would say you would love to stop by for lunch or late night to watch sports and have a few drinks...
