La Llave del Mar — Restaurant in Barceloneta

We recently visited this business with a big group of friends. We wanted to eat fried foods. It was the first time we stopped in this business and the truth is that all the fritters were very good in flavor. In addition, there was pickled fish ($ 2.00 per piece) freshly prepared with an excellent flavor, neither salty nor without salt, in your point. What I found very expensive (my opinion) was the ripe fried plantains (for a soda and 5 or 6 pieces of ripe plantain = $ 4.50). While out exploring, we stumbled upon this place for lunch. I felt bad for the nice man who waited on us as he was the first victim of my broken Spanish, but we managed and he was very polite. Great hospitality great food. The lady we felt with was a family member of this place and she is awesome. Sorry I can’t remember her name she is bilingual and was a great help. The food brought me back to childhood. Taste like grandma’s cooking....
