We were in your restaurant last evening celebrating our son's birthday. I have to say that it has been a long time since we have been that disappointed in a meal!! My son ordered cheese sticks as one appetizer. They were cold. I ordered the 10 oz sirloin, medium well & fries. The steak was no more than a cheap round steak that was very thin cut and dry as a bone. The fries were not cooked enough & my son, daughter in law (hers were the curly fries) and myself got them. When my daughter in law ordered she told her that she wanted the same thing that I got but with corn instead of the salad. She got the 7oz sirloin instead of the 10 oz that she ordered. Which may have actually been the best mistake in a long list of mistakes or we would have probably ended up with another inferior cut of meat. My husband told the waitress about my steak being overcooked and dry and she said that it didn't look like a very good cut of meat and said that she would have them cook a new one. A few minutes later this elderly man approached our table and told us that the kitchen was closed and that he would take a little off of the bill if that would help any. Like him discounting it was going to miraculously make it edible. At this point I immediately boxed my food bc it wasn't edible and I was going to bring it home to my dogs. Once we received our check my husband noticed that they had discounted my meal a whole $5.25. That is a joke!! $5.25 should have been the most we paid for that meal being the only thing edible about it was the salad, which we paid an additional $2 for!! My youngest son got the chicken tenders and fries and he took 2 bites of the chicken. It needed to be cooked more as did his fries. If you're going to charge the prices that you do you should ensure that the food is edible. When you have a customer that immediately complains about the food as soon as it's cut into and then boxes it that's a pretty good indication that the food is not good. And if you are not going to discount the food when there is a problem with it then you need to make sure that the kitchen stays open long enough to correct any issues with the food. We have approximately $41 worth of food that the dogs are going...

The worse experience ever....we were referred there by Kentucky gun company, which now I wish we weren't. The service was bad, the waitress took 20 mins to bring us drinks, then screwed up on my steak dinner not once but twice like how does that happen. I asked for the steak to be medium, it came out medium well, then I sent it back and they cooked a new one and sent it out medium rare. After speaking to the manager she had an excuse for everything. She said she was going to take my entire meal off the ticket as well as my husbands and still charges us for a salad and a potatoe that came with the meal. Charged us for a loaded potatoe that was suppose to come with my husbands meal as well as charged us for 4 refills when they are suppose to be free. After my experience I will try be returning to this nasty bad establishment being ran by this type of manager. So just for two meals, 4 drinks, baked potatoe, loaded potatoe, salad, 4 refills it still costed me $50 plus dollars. I would really hate to see how much it would have costed me for my two other meals as well. Then I called the manager today to speak to her and she was so hateful, wouldn't let me speak at all without her interrupting. She cursed at me and then hung up on me. So yes I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. If you want a bad experience just go to BJ in bards town because what there name is on there building is what they should really do to one another since they want to treat people like...

Came here for our wedding anniversary dinner before the concert at the amp, both ordered filet, ours came out cold, and my husband's steak was not only cold, but he ordered med he got rare, they took it back came back out it was med rare, he ate like 3-4 pieces on the end and just said he couldn't eat it, I told the server and she was very nice, she felt so bad, but when she came back from talking to manager she said he gave us Half off his dinner, the more I thought about it and I stoped another server to tell her about it and asked for the manager, she said I'm not the manager I just work here, and if you eat any of the steak you won't get a full refund, and just walked off! Then I was really upset, the manager came and was like asking my husband how much he ate like, it was raw and cold, the slaw we were told was creamy slaw and it was like vinegar, but the manager finally said he would take off his whole me which he should have done in the first place, it was the worst experience we have had and the worst anniversary dinner, we came from Indiana to celebrate in bardstown ky since we liked it so much last year, we will never come back to this restaurant, very very...

A Steakhouse this is NOT! Do not believe the name. This is at best a family restaurant with delusions of grandure! I ordered a Porterhouse steak and when it arrived, it was 1/2" thick, well done and tough as shoe leather. I sent my steak back and asked for one "Medium Rare". My bride ordered the special "Prime Rib" medium and it came out very rare. She ate the portions to her liking and I ate the rare portions. They brought out my Porterhouse "To Go" as we were done eating when it arrived. The replacement was also at best 1/2" thick and was seared both sides but raw in the middle. I understand that it is quite difficult to judge a 1/2" steak. Hence this is not a Steakhouse. I have never been to a steakhouse that would serve a steak that thin. Think Ponderosa or Sizzler. For the price point, this place was a real dissapointment. Do not reccomend!

First and foremost. If I could give my server, Brent, ten stars, I would. He has been the best server I have ever had. Brent was very attentive, helpful, and knowledgeable about the place. In the time we ate lunch, he probably came to the table 15 times to make sure everything was perfect. Second the atmosphere. The decor was great and the classic rock music was perfect. I absolutely loved the old bottles of whiskey stored in the walls. Last the food. What can I saw but heaven in your mouth. I had a Ribeye Sandwich with Fries and a Mountain Dew. Also I ordered Onion Rings and Fried Pickles. They have this special made Ranch Dressing that I bought a cup of by itself. In short, I HIGHLY recommend BJ's Steakhouse.

Do not eat here! The food was not cooked well at all. Whoever is working the kitchen does not know how to make prime rib. Very tough. Seemed like they took a ribeye and touched a grill and put on a plate. Very rare. They need to stop with the green ranch dressing, it just seems weird and NO one needs dye in there food. Pasta was tough and not cooked well. Sorry but I don't have much good to say about the food. Server was nice. You know its bad when kids won't eat their food. Health rating at door was low, 94. That should have been m6 sign to not enter had I seen before I went in.
