Huddle House — Restaurant in Bardstown

So check this.... I'm truly not one to complain what so ever but we decided to go to huddle house for dinner instead of me cooking tonight...daughters choice and we love breakfast for dinner sometimes. So we hit up huddle house In Bardstown ky. Her and I are eating biscuits and gravy and she gets super grossed out all of a sudden and made this awful face at me in disgust. I ask her what's wrong and she said she found a hair in her food. She pulls it out with her knife and puts it on a napkin to show me and it's literally a ball hair from the dude cooking our food! I thought it was a beard hair but his hair was SUPER short and not curly or even the same color as this one and she said I'm done ...im not eating anymore. Well I had the same thing and of course I'm not eating it either. Very nicely I asked another lady to look and she was very apologetic and said she would have our very rude waitress to take it off our bill. I asked her to take my plate as well bc after seeing that, I'm just not hungry nor am I eating it. I'm very nice the whole time and understanding to a point, and our waitress comes over PISSED that we don't want it. She takes hers off the bill, but not mine. I then ask the other nice lady to take mine off and she's tells our waitress. The rude waitress comes back...she Jerks the receipt off the table, rollout her eyes and huffing and puffing as she's turning around as in she's Mad at me bc we want our money back for something they royaly screwed up on! Not apoloetic WHAT SO EVER!!!I Was just about to ask for a manager until I looked up at our waitress and her name tag says SHE IS the manager! It blew my friggin mind!!! I wanted to ask her if she wanted to finish our food that she was so mad about us not eating or having a problem with in the 1st place but I figured not to stoop to her level of rudeness. Lol its truly so crazy the world we live in! Now I was the problem here?! Do not eat here! Service is awful...along with the food that you literally go there for in the 1st place!...

Visiting the area for a burboun tour we decided to stop in and have breakfast first. Husband had the Meat lovers omelet & grits and I had Stuffed Hash browns with Sausage gravy and coffee. The reason for 4 starts if because of the service that or waitress gave. Brianna took a few minutes getting to us but then let us know that there were short staffed when the cook walked out leaving a person that was not trained as a cook to be their cook for the day. After Brianna my husband and I explained that we understood suggested that she take a few breaths and look at her situation differently. The people knew that they were down a cook and still decided to stay and eat, so it might take longer, your order might not be perfect, if they all knew this and still decided to stay it was on the customer not her. She gave every table in the place the best she had and we couldn't of asked for anything more. My husband's only came out with Pepper's in it. He never complained, She noticed the pile on his plate and promptly asked him if he could start on his grits so they could make him a new one. The improvised cook was great also he didn't know that they weren't supposed to be in there. Brianna and the person who got shoved into the spot as the Cook deserve applause for their hard work. Everyone makes mistakes and we all have bad days, We shouldn't be so fast to make a judgement. And Brianna if you happen to see this we were the table talking about the perfume & shipping...

Here I go again, my wife and I went to huddle house tonight like we do most Friday night's. We placed our order. My wife orderd fried eggs whites like she always does with hash browns and cheese and toast. Coffee I got the ham and cheese omelet with diced tomatoes and Jalapeno peppers and tater totes and toast. Coffee and water. When we got our food my wife's eggs were fried eggs with the york still in them. (Not fried egg whites) The hash browns and cheese were edible. The toast wasn't toasted. It was Caucasian (white bread) with butter placed on it. My eggs on my omelet were over cooked not scrambled like they are suppose to be. It only had one and I repeat one jalapeno in the whole order. I was charged $1.29 for the Jalapenos. So I was expecting more. But what ever. My toast wasn't toasted either. It was Caucasian too (white bread) I think they pulled the bread out of the bag and placed butter on them. The toaster needs to be turned up so it can really toast the bread. The floor was dirty, there were cob web's on the lights, the vents, the TV's. The cook wasn't wearing gloves like she is suppose to when touching and cooking food. The kitchen area was dirty. The server was very nice and tried her best to take everyone's order that was in there in a timely manner. So hopefully things will get turned around and improvements are made.
