Wings and Rings — Restaurant in Bardstown

I’m not one to leave a review but my to-go lunch experience today was extremely disappointing. I ordered a Buffalo chicken salad, add avocados. My order was ready for pickup 15 mins later (which was pretty fast!) unfortunately when I returned to my office and opened my salad they not only forgot my avocados but they forgot the Buffalo chicken, they had given me just a plain chicken salad. I then called and informed them what had happened. I asked if I could pick up a cup of avocados and a piece of chopped Buffalo chicken for my salad. I was informed that would be ok. I quickly snapped a photo of the plain, avocadoless, chicken salad and headed over. (I wanted to show them I wasn’t trying to just get a free piece of Buffalo chicken and a free cup of avocados) Once I arrived I was offered a cup of Buffalo sauce to pour on my salad and a cup of chopped avocado. Which I declined. I showed the picture of the plain salad and was informed they would charge me for an extra piece of chicken unless I returned the original salad. This should of been told to me on the phone in the beginning, before I walked in the rain to pick up the lone piece of chopped Buffalo chicken and the avocados. I then returned to my office to retrieve the plain salad and walked back (in the rain) to hand this salad off to be tossed in the trash and a new salad made correctly. The manager brought me my new salad and informed me she watched them “place the avocado” herself. She apologized and gave me a voucher for a “free appetizer”. I thanked her and left. I should of stayed. I should of stayed and checked my salad. Upon returning to my office (in the rain) I sat down to enjoy the deliciousness that is a Buffalo chicken salad to basically open an inedible container of Buffalo chicken soup. Sauce was not only graciously poured in a copious amount on top of the salad but was also pooled at the bottom of the container. Grant it, there were avocados, but they were swimming in a lake of spiciness. If the manager truly watched the kitchen staff “place the avocados” I’m curious if she witnessed the transformation of my salad into a Buffalo soup and how she thought giving me this meal was acceptable. As I closed my inedible buffalo chicken soup to be disposed of in the garbage I noticed my “free appetizer” voucher laying on my desk. This little promotional card of shame came with a catch. FREE FRIED PICKLES with $5 purchase. So today I spent $13.15, lost half my lunch break walking back and forth in the rain to be presented with an inedible meal and promotional card for an appetizer that I would never order(there’s just something off about a warm pickle). If you order anything to go from here, I would 210% recommend you check your order (get all up in there, open the containers) so you never have to experience the disappointment and lack of a delicious lunch as...

Our waitress was horrible, I have never had a waiter treat me and my friends so terribly. First we get seated and she doesn't even introduce herself or anything instead she slams the silverware and menus on the table dropping the silverware. She then proceeds to pick it up and we just say we'll take them, and she walks away. She comes back to take our drink orders and is just hateful about everything I don't think the girl can smile. She brings the drinks and slams them on the table as well. Then she says what do you all want? At this point I was so over her attitude I didn't even want to order anything but my friends insisted we stay. We all wanted a minute to look at the menu in detail so we asked if she could return, she just walks off without saying anything. 30 minutes pass and we are all wondering if she's gonna come back and take our order.....finally my friend gets up amd goes to give her our order. As she proceeds to tell the waiter, she says oh God what do you want? My friend gives her our orders and she is just so rude. So we all decide to make the most of it, there was a big storm so we didn't want to leave in the middle of it. Our food comes out 45 minutes later, and its cold of course I wasn't expecting anything less. Me and my friends we're enjoying the music because it was karaoke night. We asked for a LIT from the bar because we weren't even fooling with our waitress anymore plus we hadn't seen her since she dropped our food off. The bar tender said they are no longer serving alcohol.....but another group of people ordered drinks right in front of us and got their drinks. So it just didnt make any sense at all. Terrible experience at this wings and rings. We were on a trip and decided to stop here for wings since I hadn’t been to a wings and rings in forever. When we got our boneless wings, we bit into them and it was like they had been in the refrigerator. Our seasoned wedges were fine so we ate those. We flagged our server down to let her know and she was like yeah, okay and took them to get them remade. 50 or so minutes after we had been at the restaurant, she came back out with our boneless wings. When she left we realized she only gave us 10 instead of the 15 we ordered, so we flagged her down again and asked her to just charge us for 10 instead of 15 since we didn’t get the right amount and she said, “oh no I will get you the rest and still only charge you for 10”, we told her it was okay we didn’t want them because we didn’t want to wait for them. Well, she brought them anyways and we asked for boxes and the check. When we got the check there mozzarella sticks on the check that we did not even order and we were charged for the 15 wings. At that point we just wanted out of the restaurant, so we flagged down the server to take off the mozzarella sticks and she was really confused. We told her we did not order them and did not get mozzarella sticks. She did end up taking them off, but it was a terrible experience with one thing after another and we were ready to get out of their after being there at lunch time...
