Wawa — Restaurant in Barnegat Township

Just got gas with my girl and she asked for $20 paying with a card, attendant (wearing a purple hat) double checks saying “$40?” Where my girl and myself both respond NO, $20 and he responds “oh okay” and sets the pump and walks away and we’re sitting there and my girl goes “I said $20 right?” Like yes so I jumped up to stop the pump and it clicked off cuz her tank was full at $35 and change… not $20. The kid was totally clueless sees I finished the sale and says have a good one. And I’m like baffled so it took me a second as I’m standing there to say something where I said “hey bro just saying we told you $20, not $40, not fill…like yes we had the money to cover it but not everyone just has extra money they didn’t account on spending.. just maybe pay more attention..” he didn’t say sorry didn’t apologize or acknowledge his mess up, he just kinda stared at me then proceeded to walk infront of our vehicle as we were going to pull away. Every day As a driver I work in this area and I hear the other drivers say the same problem with this wawa. We try to go in there to use the restroom and we never seem to be able to get in there because there's always one employee that is just sitting in the stall for hours. 1st day you would think it's a customer whatever. In the week 3 were you realized there's certain days of the week where this guy is just sitting in there it makes it pointless to stop in at this wawa. If we can't quickly relieve ourselves grab our food and get back to work there's no reason why this would be convenient. And we're better off just taking our business elsewhere. We're not afraid to go Chase our money if your employees are too lazy to get off the toilet and actually work there hourly waves then find...

This is a predominantly Caucasian area. One cashier Maureen did a great job while the other Rick or Rich showed high signs of racism. I came in wearing a tank top and sweatpants displaying tattoos I'm a young Hispanic male who works for Google reviews. I noticed that while on line the cashier Maureen had given a Caucasian customer one penny back as change. The cashier named Rick laughed and said every penny counts. I decide to go on his lane to test his work ethics. He looked at me up and down, did not say salute me and when my total came out to $7.40 i handed him a $20 bill.
