All true about freshness, sanitation and professionalism. Beyond that, this is one of the most expensive fish stores I’ve been in, and there is virtually no variety. I am including the creme de la creme of ew York City fish markets (start with Citarella)
Everything at Cape Fish is meticulously fileed and is fresh as possible. But surely on Cape Cod their are fish that are neither Haddock or Cod or Halibut, local fish that don’t cost more than what you pay for parking at a Sports event.
Want to emphasize that everything I’ve bought here was great. But this place appeals to the white square culinary aesthetic. Like a boneless, skinless chicken breast. Or a center cut pork loin chop.
