We found this place on our way to the hotel we were staying at for a soccer competition. We were so hungry so we stopped at the first pizza place we found and ordered a couple subs and pizza. There are a couple other businesses to the side of it and this business is at the end. It looks kind of new and the owners were just opening up. Overall the place had a very clean and comfortable vibe. You could see the staff cared about the place as they were cleaning everything and every inch of everything from the night before. They were really nice and took our order when they were ready which only took a couple minutes. We ordered a chicken parm sub, two pieces of pizza which they serve whole and by the slice which is a huge benefit on the Cape and we also had a grilled chicken salad that has lettuce tomato and mayo on it they also have another version of this up that is breaded and has homemade mozzarella and basil. Both subs were served on a ciabatta roll, a long one. And the pizza looked delicious and my son who is very picky with his pizza Loved it Just looking at the top of it. You could tell they use a various number of cheeses on it. The chicken parm was delicious and loaded with cheese. The sauce tasted homemade as there were some inconsicity with the dicing and sizes of tomatoes etc. All of it was absolutely delicious and we had a great meal. We left the shop to eat at our hotel and as we left we were thanked generously for coming in. I definitely think anyone liking a different kind of sub and pizza would like to try this out. When I say different I mean the sub rules aren't the typical subrolls and the pizza has more taste than the typical throw on cheese and toss in oven type. I wish I had got some pictures but in the rush of trying to get to the hotel I forgot to take anything more than this one. However if you try it out for yourself you won't be disappointed I promise. I hope you enjoy and I hope my experience...
Read moreSo my family, my parents and I were looking for a place to eat after a day of sightseeing. We came across this place and looked at the reviews, and based on the high ratings, we decided to try it out. It’s a small place known mostly for takeout and delivery, but we decided to eat in. We were greeted by one of the owners and when we told him we’d like to eat in, he was so polite and moved the tables for all 6 of us to sit down. We ordered the Classic cheese pizza, a deluxe, meatball hoagie, Seafood linguini and a gnocchi dish. You would have thought we were at a fine dining establishment, the food is that GOOD! It is some of the best Italian we have ever had, and we live in a town full of many local Italian restaurants and have also been to Italy multiple times. So many people came in for takeout and they must have known they were getting the best, because even with some longer waits, not one bad word about that. The owner made sure that all the food was being prepared and it came out so fresh.
If you’re ever in Yarmouth/Hyannis, make sure to try this place out, because it’s some of the best food on the Cape for very reasonable prices. This is why reviews are so helpful. Without all the high reviews, we wouldn’t have gotten to experience Fine Italian in a friendly pizzeria. Thanks Francesco...
Read moreAs a New Jersey washashore I find that I miss three things from back home ... (1) Good Bagels (2) Good Chinese and (3) Great Pizza. I joined a Facebook page for Cape restaurants and found that people were raving about F&L Pizza. So much so that I had to try for myself. I was not disappointed! My first experience was an eggplant parm sub for lunch. My mom and I used to joke that you can tell a good Italian restaurant by the quality of their bread. The bread here spoke volumes. The sub roll was fresh and the eggplant was sliced so thin and was seasoned well - no bitter taste left behind. My friend ordered a chicken cutlet sub with fresh mozzarella and roasted red peppers. She loved it! The following week I ordered a Chicken Parm Sub for my mother and my husband and I shared a deluxe pizza. Our Pizza was delish. I am not one for sausage but I actually enjoyed it! The pizza itself was reminiscent of my time in New Jersey. My mother (who is super picky) raved about her chicken parm sub and can't wait to try a pasta dish next. I highly recommend F&L Pizza. Worth noting they do have seating and an share a fairly large lot with several...
