The Food was delicious and well portioned. I've never seen Deviled eggs on a menu before. They were an eclectic blend of dill, maple syrup with a piece of andouille on the top. Sounds weird but it blended well with the palate. Poutine was tasty but I prefer brown gravy. The Country gravy on the poutine would have been better if it was poured on after the french fries crisped up a little more with the melted curds to prevent the gravy from curdling but it was tasty. The Brisket was on point. Juicy, flavorful, and healthy portions. Smoky Mac and cheese was one of the best I have tasted in the area, It was creamy and rich. Corn bread, baked to perfection, had jalapenos which gave it a nice little kick. Their slaw was delicious. Not sweet or too much vinegar. Red onions was a great addition, however I would have liked for the shreds of cabbage and onion chopped up a little more instead of long strands to chew easier. Jerk Chicken did not disappoint. No skimming on the spice.Baked beans looked savory traditionally with a piece of fat on top. I ordered the very refreshing Berry Mule mocktail (Any drink on the menu can be turned into a mocktail.) I personally would order the Mac and cheese big portion with Brisket on top rather than building my own plate. It came in a cast iron skillet with corn bread. Overall, I definitely will be back. Very reasonably priced and delicious BBQ

I took my family here because we wanted BBQ and seen the good reviews, but we were very disappointed. The place was empty aside from one older gentleman eating by himself and a few people having drinks at the bar. We waited nearly 10 mins to be seated. We ordered drinks - were super weak and expensive at that - around $10 a drink. We ordered a poutine, which was pretty good, however the brisket was EXTREMELY dry. Probably previously made and reheated, considering they werent busy. I had Brisket and mac&cheese for my entree. The brisket was a little better than what was served with the routine, however portions for the sides were extremely small considering the cost. My girlfriend had pulled pork with the loaded potato salad, which she enjoyed aside from the small servings. And our kid had a cheeseburger and fries. They were generous with the fries. Overall it was a very lackluster experience considering the bill was over $85 for the 3 of us with very little food. We were swatting flies away the whole time. The pictures of the menu i looked at on here are outdated as everything has gone up in price significantly. I understand now why they were empty and there haven't been much for reviews in the last 3 months.

Stopped by for lunch on a rainy day. The place was practically empty. We were 1 of maybe 5 tables seated and a couple at the bar. The atmosphere and decor are cute. Typical BBQ joint. Service was decent. Menu is small but everything on it sounds so good it's hard to choose. The meats were all tender, juicy and just that little bit of smoke to enhance flavors. The Beer Belly Beans were a hit. You can tell they're homemade and slow cooked. By far my favorite bite was the Pretzel Puppies. This is a shareable appetizer of sourdough pretzel bites with a maple reduction and bacon bits. It came with a side of their Carolina Gold sauce for dipping. These are great with or without the sauce. Food is reasonably priced with large portions. Only thing that bummed me out is that meats don't come with enough sauce for my taste and they don't have bottles of their bbq sauces on the table to use freely like so many other bbq joints. Instead they have small dipping cups that you have to request (and they charge 50 cents per cup). Other than that I'd definitely recommend and will be visiting again.

I almost never google review. Very pleased with all aspects of this place. This place was not even on our radar to visit but we received a gift card from a friend so we made the 1 hour drive. We called ahead to confirm hours and not being closed for special event. The woman who answered the phone was very friendly and inviting so that already made me feel great about the drive. The restaurant was very cozy with great lighting(not too bright and not to dark) and heated well. We got immediately seated and acknowldeged by our server. Our waitress was great(wish I remembered her name, she had thicker gauged earrings, if she reads this post she will know who she is). She was super friendly and was down to earth. She read the room well with our daughter and made her comfortable with the experience. The drinks are great. I had an old fashioned that was on point. My wifes margarita was great. The server offered my daughter a shirley temple which she loved. The food came quick and was warm. My daughter had the half rack, wife had brisket and pulled pork plate and I the Pig Pile. The amount of food for the money was more than abundant. I spend all my spare time around a smoker doing BBQ at home and an avid foodie so I'm constantly judging others products. That being said I can say these folks got a good thing going and if I ever get my feet off the ground this place is what I vision as my own. Since Covid it seems experience and personality is dead in the food industry, I can cook similar to what others serve but we go out for the experience and the service. For years we always end up disappointed and wondering why we even bother going out to eat. Seems service now a days is someone taking order and not connecting with people. It was awesome to be fed good food in a great environment by someone who cared about her guests. 10/10 we...
