Yama Fuji 2 — Restaurant in Barrington

I'd give more stars but felt like the service was lacking. We sat at the bar for dinner and not once did the chef interact with us. When we were ready to order, we asked the chef if we could order with him and he told us to wait for the server, who was on the phone for a delivery. What really stuck a nerve was that he pulled his cellphone out and was just scrolling along right in front of us. The cell got more attention than we did. Maybe I just picked the wrong weekend to visit this place. Can't say much about the food as I did not enjoy...

I have a gluten sensitivity and cannot eat chinese food typically. This restaurant does have gluten free options available, which is why my review has 3 stars instead of 2, but the service is wildly inconsistent. The first few times I ordered, I ordered delivery and they delivered to my house. Now they refuse to deliver to me and claim that I'm too far. I had planned on getting chinese food this evening and now that's shot. Rather rude on the phone too, horrible...

I ordered a Yama roll for sushi which I always get and it’s delicious I got it to go. I get home and this time instead I got something else not what I ordered. I called the place the owner the lady picks up I tell her what happened and she was very rude about it and very unprofessional. Did not give a care in the world and kept telling me that that’s a Yama roll when I always get that and it was not what I always get. Overall pretty good but...
