Marty b’s had so much potential but it started failing almost from the beginning. It started with out waiter not remembering anything we asked of him. Starting with the drinks. The restaurant was empty but they then proceeded to seat a party of 7 right next to us. Which is fine except they was LOUD. The waiter was more into entertaining the drinkers at that table then he was about remembering simple order details with ours, such as extra ketchup or tarter sauce for the fish and chips.
The food was not the best, for the price it should have been out of this world and it was not. I don’t know if that had to do with the time or the cooks or as forgetful as our waiter and forgot how to cook the menu. My fiancé ordered penne with meatballs and she said it tasted microwaved and canned sauce. The pizza was a meat pizza and there was more veggies then actual meat. The fish and chips looked and it had huge chunks of fish. Don’t know about taste as my dad didn’t really say too much other then it was edible.
Overall it’s not the worst but it’s definitely one that I would only go to if nothing...
Read moreMy Wife is currently handicapped. She wears a foot brace and uses a walker/leg scooter. We went here on 9/7/23, our first day for the week in the condo. We went in front door and it was all same level until you went down to lower section where the bar is. The host said that that the only thing he could give us for two people was a table with high stools in the bar area. So to get there, you have to go down stairs and also, how is she suppose to get up to a high stool. I said she couldn’t do the stairs or the stool. He said we could wait. I said what about the three tables open with for chairs on the first level. He said he had nothing for two people. He said we could wait or get order to go. I said we couldn’t wait. We sat on a bench and I ordered to go. Twenty minutes later, still no one using those tables or was anyone waiting the whole time. It was 8 PM at night! If this is the way you treat handicap people, we will not be back. I could understand more if there was people waiting or if it was not...
Read moreMy husband and I went to Nostalgia Night at Story Land and they had a big sign advertising this restaurant. So we figured it must be good and we drove there. The outside is extremely deceiving, it's very nice. But once you walk in and are seated, you realize very quickly that it's just a glorified local pizza joint. The menu is very small, all typical pizza place stuff. Zero vegetarian options that aren't salad. Since we were starving we decided to at least get an appetizer before leaving. We got the classic poutine. It was so bad that I literally spit it out. The gravy had no flavor at all, the fries were cold and bland. It was just disgusting and we both felt sick after. On top of that, the waiter was so unbelievably slow. We only got water and poutine and it took him nearly 45 minutes to serve us. A different serve brought the food and plates. We sat for 15 minutes just looking at each other before he even came over to bring the check. 0/10 do not recommend this...
