Roberto's Neopolitan Pizza — Restaurant in Barton

This place is in Barton VT. Holy Cow... Do not pass it up. Amazing is not saying enough about it. Bring cash, they don't take cards but they do have an ATM. Friendly staff, unique pizza's. We'll be back for sure. Omg, I almost forgot... Do not pass up the dessert! I almost forgot the best part... Upon these masterpieces coming out of the oven they take pure Vermont Maple Syrup and drizzle it over the outer edges of the crust. I can not explain how this addition takes a perfect pizza and takes it to another level. You just have to experience it for yourself. We couldn't wait to take it back to our cabin so we grabbed a paper plate and had a piece right there before we left. Thank God we are here for twelve days... If you are close to Barton, Vermont you owe it to yourself to try Roberto's pizza. My wife and I got a half " carcass" (all meat) and half "Flyin' Hawaiian" pizza, but they have a pizza for everyone. (Check out Colleen Adams' review for a picture of the menu). It was some of the best pizza we've ever had! The pizzas were full of great ingredients, but Roberto drizzles pure Vermont maple syrup on the crust. I cannot describe the flavor sensation that this creates except to say that it is beyond belief good! It is a combination that is worthy of an upscale New York City or Chicago restaurant, yet it is prepared by a nice, friendly family in a comfortable family-friendly place. First let me start by saying the food is good....and here is the obligatory BUTT!!!! We ordered the mozzarella sticks qty of 5 they were ok, but the Marinara was ice cold...2nd we ordered the hand made chicken tenders the price was $12.00 which is average then we open the container to find only 2 1/4 tenders. This is not satisfactory when you are spending $ 25.00 and that's all you get in this economy I understand the pricing but the amount of food shld equal the price..I know everyone needs to make a living but you can NOt charge max price and not deliver the goods! because no matter how good the food is.. if its not cost effective its not going generate repeat business..and you can price yourself out of the market!!!
