Went there tonight at about 8:30, the girl at the counter took my order and i left, I went back to get my food and my sub was heated but was supposed to be cold. The girl disagreed with me and so I said I ordered a cold sub as my children will not eat a heated sub, the girl again said i asked for a hot sub, she then went to the woman in the back and said, this lady ordered a hot sub and now says she wanted it cold, I could hear the conversation! The lady in the back then made a new sub and brought it to me at the counter and said here you go nice and cold to which I responded, I ordered a cold sub my friend was standing here and heard me say not heated, I said I have worked in a restaurant and understand that mistakes happen, but the rudeness of the young girl was not acceptable. I will probably not go back here and will not send business to them again either! The young girl was complaining about people coming in so close to closing. Then I got home to eat with my children and my roast beef was not a nice pink it was more grayish! Over all not a great dining experience...
Read moreit's hard not to feel disgruntled. Street states, "Sometimes you just have to get up and ask to be helped. Failing that, leaving the restaurant also works if you are ignored completely!" There's no need to feel guilty for asking for serviceMost of us agree there is a certain level of forgiveness for service errors but there are some inexcusable behaviors. For example, "I don't like it when the server or bartender is standing around more worried about everyone getting out and being grumpy and not offering anybody drinks in being pitchy when you have to ask for a drink while you are waiting "The thing that gets me the most is if we are ignored." The bottom line is, if the restaurant is incredibly busy we can reserve judgment but if the staff seems to care more about their social lives than their job it comes across as disrespectful. It's this one bartender always grumpy its not even closeing time you still have 20 mins before they do and she wants to close the doors sometimes sooner .. I walked ian sat down I had to ask for a drink and what do I get a grumpy bartender...
Read moreWhenever we camp, we try to get pizza from a local pizzeria on our first night so we aren't rushing to get everything set up. I googled local pizza places and we chose this one out of the several noted on Google Maps.
When I walked it, it smelled heavenly! We travel with dogs and would have liked to eat there but they don't allow dogs inside. We got everything to go and enjoyed dinner back at our RV.
I must have been hungry when I ordered or the delicious aroma from the kitchen enticed me but I left with a Italian Sub, Large Pizza, Fries, and Cheesy Garlic Sticks for a family of 3.
WE ATE EVERYTHING! It was DELICIOUS. I would highly recommend Village Pizza to anyone and everyone. If/when we pass through again, I would happily eat here.
The staff was so friendly and and cheerful which helped pass the time while we waited...
