Love the decor, friendly little place, although the waitstaff seemed bewildered about how to describe their Mexican pork sandwich special (we asked because it was in all Spanish words on the board, so... and this was a clearly Amish diner, no one guessed it was simply sliced pork on a roll and she didn't either-weird when ya work there maybe learn the menu?, She was shy maybe, not picking on her she was perfectly good at serving) It was ok food for about $10 per person for a lunch. Very clean place, novel Amish atmosphere, only restaurant in town, but not for miles, lol. Fun historical photos amidst the decor, was steadily busy but it didnt affect the service any. Arrived on a Saturday around 1 p.m. Several customers already in the restaurant. Seated and order taken quickly. Wife and I both ordered breakfast items. She had a half order of biscuits and gravy with hash browns and I ordered a pancake, egg over easy, and side of bacon. I noticed the pies and added a slice of home made banana cream. Pie came before the food and I started on it. Tasted very good. Food arrived and it was also very good. Service was not stellar, but it wasn't bad, either. I over tipped because the meal was not expensive and I didn't feel like waiting for change. ...
