This place is an absolute joke. The worst restaurant experience we've had in a long time. I will try to keep it as short as possible but I could literally write two pages about this one visit it's so bad. First of all, as soon as you walk in the restaurant you smell that old fried food burnt oil smell, and it's so strong/bad it lingered on our clothes and hair when we left. We literally had to go home and change clothes because the entire vehicle smelt like old fried food after our visit. Secondly, we came for brunch and two of our entrees we ordered cheesy grits with since that's a brunch staple. After they put in our order the waitress came out and told us that unfortunately they had no grits left at the restaurant. She offered as an alternative side of grouper bites since she said the cook was sorry they were out of grits. She told me it would not be an additional cost to get that as a side. I asked for that and she went away. She came back about 5 minutes later and told me unfortunately the manager saw that she was giving us the grouper bites for free and told her she would have to charge us $15 for those. She told me that she could just give me fries instead. Next, we had all ordered sweet tea. They brought us each one cup of sweet tea and when we asked for refills they told us that unfortunately they were out of sweet tea. It was me, my wife and our two kids that came for brunch. All of us got our food that we ordered except for our son. They said his would be out in a few minutes. Three different times over the next 20+ minutes we asked about his entree and they kept saying it would be out in a minute. We all finished our food and already had to go boxes before they finally brought his food out. It was also overcooked and the biscuits were so hard he could barely cut them with a knife. On top of all of this, their store hours were listed as 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday. This was posted on Google, their website, their door, and their phone recording. However when we got there at 2:30 they told us they were closing at 3:00. We mentioned the fact that all those places said they were open until 8:00 and we even called before we drove the hour there and the recording also said 8:00 p.m. They said that they decided to close early today but did not update it anywhere. Throughout the time we were eating there were numerous people that were showing up to eat and getting turned away because the restaurant decided to close early without posting that anywhere at all. After all of these issues, they brought us out our check for the full amount which was over $80 just for two adults and two children to eat brunch. They did not offer us a single discount or did not offer to take anything off the check despite all of these issues we had. They even charged us full price for the drinks even though they ran out after the original cup. Absolutely terrible way to run a business, terrible customer service, and we will most definitely not be back. The prices they were charging were insane for the quality of service and food we got. This place needs some serious corrections done or they're going to go out of business. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE...
Read moreLet's Goooo! Food - Was completely taken by surprise! So many good options and although fish is NEVER my first pick I am a go big or go home kinda gal so we started with thelst amazing tarter sauce on whatever the fish was it didn't matter it was good. Not a fish person and just wanna impress your fish folks.. This is your spot! Rest of the menu looked reasonable and great but we stopped here on a whim and we are so happy we did! Everyone else enjoyed dang near all the entrees they had no complaints what so ever! Drinks - great variety. Between your brunch special and your nightcap you really can not go wrong. Well sized glasses and...... Service - Your people are on point!!! The bartender we had was well versed on the local lake and had great options for out of the ordinary to your humble brunch bloody Mary and made them all good looking and ready to enjoy that beautiful view. We had never been and gave us great options for food choices as well. Atmosphere - This place was amazing BUT!! You would never know it without taking a chance. It looks closed driving by even on the best nights. We being locals for 10 years, were curious if it was even open driving by most days. Make the decision and take the chance. The back is a whole different ball game! All on all..... Signage in the front would go a long way! Stock the actual marketplace side as we were ready to buy our goods but the music was great, the service was on point and the food was worth coming back...
Read moreWe had dinner tonight and my husband said his grilled fish was delicious. I just had a hamburger. I wish you guys had krinkle cut fries! The bun was so soft and meat was so tender it was really good. BUT it doesnât compare to the steak I had a couple weeks ago. I can never eat everything on my plate but I ate every bite! It was delicious!!! It was cooked perfect, it was tender and loved the flavor. Last visit the manager walked around and checked on everyone. Tonight Kyle came out from the kitchen making sure everybody was happy with their dinner! Very much appreciated! Crystal was our server tonight and she was a sweetheart and we wanted for nothing. She took very good care of us! The host that seated us greeted us as soon as we walked in and was very friendly. Weâre excited that theyâre literally down the street from us! My only request I know you guys keep a bowl of water on the deck for dogs but once the people sit down their dogs are under the tables panting and they canât get to the bowls. I know you guys arenât the owners but somebody has to look out for the furballs. đ It would be really awesome if yâall had a standard rule to take a cold bucket of water out to each table that has a dog just automatically when you wait on the table and leave it by them where they can get it. A bucket wouldnât run dry. We...
