This is a nice place to eat on Wright Patterson Air Force base This particular location is on Wright Patterson Air Force Base and just to the north of the Air Force Institute of Technology. This means that if you can get on base, then you can access this restaurant. It shares a building with a gas station so you can fuel up your body and your vehicle with one stop. There is a small parking lot next to the drive-through. You can eat in or pick up food at the drive-through. There is a small counter and a small seating area between the door and the counter. The seating area is nice with mostly a few booths. The tables and seating area were clean and well-kept. You order at the counter and wait to pick up your food. The staff was friendly. Ordering was easy and the food was prepared quickly and well. I got a whopper. It was prepared quickly and was delicious and reasonably priced. Overall, it was a pleasant and good experience with nice staff, reasonable prices and good location on the base. I would go there again and recommend it to my...
Read moreSo, I have been to MANY BK’s on an Air Force base before...and for the most part, they have been exactly what you expect from a Burger King. Just your typical fast food restaurants. However, this particular BK had a RAW surprise for me. I ordered a chicken sandwich, and everything seemed normal. I unwrapped my sandwich, and took a bite. You know how raw chicken feels? Really tough, and just...chewy! Well that is EXACTLY what this sandwich was. It’s like they only cooked the outside of the piece of chicken, and decided, “This LOOKS done”. So, unless you are getting fries, a drink or ice cream...I highly suggest NOT going to this specific BK.
this review does not by any means paint a bad picture of ALL BK’s...just this one...
Read moreThis is an AAFES location on base. The hours listed on google maps and burger king's website are incorrect because of a lack of communication. Service is generally good, but it can be very crowded during the lunch rush, sometimes making the wait for food over 15-20 minutes, if they are really swamped. As long as you arrive at a time apart from that rush, service is good, reasonably quick, and the food is decent. About what I would expect from a burger king, nothing particularly special. Note that the drive through hours cover breakfast and lunch, while the dining room hours only cover lunch. Do not expect this location to be open after work, or into the...
