La charreada Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Bath Township

I have ben going to the restaurant for years and years lol I have tried most items on the menu but I have found the best my favorite on the menu Carne Con Queso I believe it is on the appetizer menu . I don't even pick up my menu any more it's Soo good it's the lacharreada fajita without the peppers and onions an sides that come with that one but it's all the meat steak chicken and shrimp with there white (queso) cheese dip as the base and it comes with flour shells to make your own tacos . I could eat this everyday and never get sick of it the meal or just eatinf at the restaurant every day would rock Lol they have 3 locations cable road shawnee road and harding highway. Harding highway is the original and the one I usually go to but Ben to all 3 and all are good and taste the same . I have never Ben here and had bad service or bad food and I've prolly ate more then 1000 meals here over the years not exaggerating either more then 20 25 years of awesome authentic mexican food. Love you Lacharreadas never change or leave us that would be a sad sad day!!! A must try seriously out of towners if you want something not fast food you will not regret it. Driving on I75 passing through it's simple to find and to get back to the highway. You won't fight traffic to arrive or get back on road. Also you won't be waiting to be seated for an hour either so do yourselves a favor and give it a try!!! YOU WONT BE...

I wish I could give this place a 0 star rating. My family used to always go to this place and even referred friends and family to this restaurant as well. Like loyal customers, we called into their restaurant for a take-out order. First of all, the woman who answered kept hanging up on me and tried to blame me for the connection problems. Then, I spent the next 25 minutes giving her a simple family order. LITERALLY 5 combo plates of the same thing. And that took 25 minutes! Then, when I asked for the total cost and asked for the food to be all vegetarian; Sergio, the apparent supervisor, took the phone and informed me that they no longer feel comfortable with my order because he, nor the restaurant wanted to be blamed if meat came into any of the plates. I asked the order to be vegetarian and they couldn’t assure it’ll be vegetarian, that’s HORRIBLE! If you want bad customer service, then La Charreada is the place to go! They waste your time and their food is subpar. El Cazador is better anyway, bye bye La...

We don't usually come to this location since it's not as close as the location on Cable road or Shawnee road, but my wife and I decided to have lunch here since we were on this side of town. As always, the service of La Charreada is pretty good. The problems we ran into were non food items in both of our burritos. I had a piece of plastic wrap in my burrito, and my wife had what looked like a piece of vinyl glove in hers. When this was brought to the attention of our waiter, he just mentioned how the chicken comes wrapped in plastic and they use gloves in the kitchen, so that's why it was in the food. Either way, that is still inexcusable. The waiter let the owner know of our issue, and the owner came over to our table repeating the exact same thing we were already told by our waiter. His way of "making it right" was by taking $7 off of our bill. We learned a lesson, and we just won't visit this particular...
