Bayou Seafood & Deli — Restaurant in Baton Rouge

This place has the most amazing chicken wings and potato logs. I always forget to take a pic because me and my family usually finish it as soon as it gets in the car. Even now, my mouth is watering for a taste of that food. I always make sure my fiance gets me at least 3 to 5 logs to myself cause I don't like sharing them. The barbecue wings are great as well. I plan to try even more on the menu for a well-rounded review but that chicken...crack.

We were introduced to Bayou Seafood and Deli a little over a year ago and it's been consistently great and quality customer service. On top of that wait times are not long. We have never called to place a to-go order, we always walk-in. Ever since my first bite I've never tasted anything like it.

A lot of people love the taste of The Blue Store chicken wings in Baton Rouge, but if I had to choose, I'd keep choosing Bayou. I'll have pictures on my next visit before I dig in to my finger-licking preparation.

We were in Baton Rouge passing through on our way across country... my hubby likes to drive around town and follow his nose for good food... we happened upon Bayou Seafood and Deli.... we were expecting something totally different because of the name, but man were we pleased. Hubby got wings and an egg roll, I got jumbo shrimp and the potato wedges..... I will tell you that the next time we are near Baton Rouge we will be specifically taken a turn off of the highway to come here.... those potato wedges were absolutely AMAZING!!!!! We weren't overly fond of the egg rolls but we are used to a different style. Hubby said the wings were really good as well... and THE PRICE WAS AMAZING AS WELL!!! 13.00 for all that food is unheard of... we expected to pay in the 30's... anyway... amazing food, amazing price, and very very clean... we will be...

I love this place! I had already rated this place so I'm writing a review from my previous rate from 2 yrs ago. Lol To this day, I still go here and never had no problems. Food always A1 and fresh. The lemonade is still the best in town I think. Shrimp fried rice, fish, and popcorn shrimp. With an extra side of wings with a large lemonade. I order the same thing each time I come 🥰🥰 I only hate they close at 4 on weekdays and closed on Sundays lol Other then that Baton Rouge's finest hood food store 🤣 the area its located would be how some may put "da hood" but its worth the drive if you are not from the area. Just make sure you get your spot in line because the line be out...
