Chicken Shack — Restaurant in Baton Rouge

One worker inparticular was rude and wasn't focusing. They call numbers her not a food item. So I was there for a bit and a guy ordered a shrimp poboy, she called my number and reached me the bag, I took it, then the guys asks for his food. She says the lady took it, and left, and her boss says why? She says idk, 🙄 I said no ma'am, I didn't leave and you called my number and gave it to me. She says no I said shrimp poboy, no ma'am, because I would Never have taken it. So he asked me for it and I said sorry sir, but you'll need to get it from her, she already lied and said I took it, she's not gonna say I gave it away. So she takes it back, and then proceeds to call my number again, After SLAMMING My Chicken in the carry out plastic bag. So then she says oh she left, I said no I didn't I'm still here, I was watching you slam my chicken in the bag. She says we'll sorry, I said no problem, but you have to watch what you're doing and to whom you're giving food. Then thanked her and told her I hope you has a better day😉. Smh, haven't been back. The service and quality of this place has diminished so greatly. The people you have working in there now are young dumb and flat out unprofessional. They posess zero customer service and behave like a group of idiotic teenagers with their use of profanities and child like antics while they are suppose to be servicing their customers. I guess you have to be a full blown idiot in order to work there now. It will be a long time before I ever visit this location again solely based on the experience I had today. The young silly looking female with that atrocious filthy looking wig on top of her head needs to be fired immediately. She has the worst attitude and has no concept of customer service. I doubt I'll ever support Chicken Shack again simply because of the decline in the quality of workers they have, specifically at this location. Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if all of the locations close down soon because I notice they don't have many customers coming in like they did some years ago which speaks volumes. I went there today on Mohican at Pawtucket. My experience was good walking in clean lobby. Cashier friendly. Food good. But the draw back was watching the young man through plated glass, he was using prongs to pick up chicken but checking the drumsticks for size to give customers. Also he used those same prongs to stop the fryer timer to turn it off from beeping and then right back to picking up chicken with those same prongs. Also when you walk in this location it smell as though something is SOUR or DEAD but owner or employees never took out the time to check it. Or the grease they fry chicken in is very old.
