New Moon Coffeehouse and Eatery — Restaurant in Baudette

My wife and I were in Baudette for a week in early July and did a lot of morning walks around the town. I needed a good cup of coffee and stopped in to New Moon then ended up going back nearly every single morning (and one lunch too!) The staff are super nice and cordial and they have some of the best coffee I've had in a long while. I love dark coffee and they had a locally roasted bean that was rich, dark and smooth. So GOOD! The atmosphere inside is very comfortable with couches and chairs to relax in while sipping your drink and talking with friends, along with various sized tables for 2 to 12 to sit at. Outside are picnic tables with umbrellas, where we spent most of our mornings enjoying the weather before it got too hot.

They have a wonderful selection of fresh baked goods (get there early because they go fast!) and their menu has plenty of choices for everyone. Another very nice thing they do for you is listen to what you want - if it isn't specifically on the menu, just ask! You may want the breakfast panini and instead of sausage or bacon, you'd like the veggie-burger to keep it on the healthy side. Done! You want your grilled cheese sandwich a little burnt with your homemade tomato soup? Sure, we can do that for you!

I can't say enough about New Moon - it truly is a wonderful coffee...

We stopped here on our way out of Lake of the Woods from a fishing trip knowing we'd need a strong dose of caffeine to get us through the drive back to Minneapolis.

We came in to smiling, friendly faces and a quick rundown of the menu, both food and drink. The pasties and baked goods looked delicious but we just needed coffees. They had so many unique flavored coffee drinks, there's something for everyone.

I ended up getting the Bees Knees, a lavender and honey latte. My husband got the Bonfire, a toasted marshmallow mocha. Both were delicious, well balanced and not too sweet.

The space is big and bright with lots of seating options. They even have what appears to be a small meeting room.

This coffeeshop and eatery is also women-owned, and you can tell because everything is so thoughtfully designed - including the bathroom. Instead of just putting in one of those changing tables that folds from the wall, they have a real changing table for a more home away from home feel when you're changing baby's diaper.

We'll certainly be back when we're in town and wish nothing but the best for...

This appears to be a pretty new coffee shop on main the highway in the middle of baudette. I stopped in for a bite to eat on a Tuesday afternoon, had a wonderful salad. The coffee was pretty good. I just had regular drip coffee, but it was hot and it got refill on the way out.

The price was very reasonable. The atmosphere was very nice. The restroom facility was great and the service was wonderful. I'll be stopping here on a regular basis as I go through baudette three or four...
