D'Angelo's — Restaurant in Bay City

This place is definitely the bomb. My husband & I wanted 2 try sumwhere different, so we decided on comin here. BEST DECISION WE'VE EVER MADE UNITED!!! We did not order their pizza but we ordered the ultimate burger (mine's) & my husband got the witch "sumthing" (I can't remember his). He ate his food immediately after we got back home. He was so quiet w/ his food, I had 2 ask him "was it good??". He was like "yes. Y, yes, it was." So I'm like, let me try mines. I started eating my fries instead & realized I was gettin alil full. I'm thinkin that I have 2 try my burger while it's @least warm. I took a bite of my burger & immediately cursed & I'm not a curser (lmbo). I'm sold w/ this place! The way their food taste, they mite as well take all my money cause it's TOTALLY worth it! They definitely added 2 new customers 2 this joint. The lady was very nice & I 4got 2 ask 4 her name. But, that's not all, while we were there, I wanted 2 try the vegetarian wings. I'm not a vegetarian but I love 2 try new things. Ordered that & she asked if we wanted 2 eat that 1st, I'm like "YES! PLZ!" (I'm pregnant & I can't control my excitement rite now...lol) It took about 7 to 10 mins 4 me 2 get it which is not bad @ all 2 me. Had my vegetarian wings w/ Dill smoke sauce. OMG...GMO!!! It was so delicious!! Even my husband loved them! He's definitely not a cauliflower type person...Ijs. Over all, I really enjoyed this place atmosphere, food & location. I'm very excited that I can say that I went 2 a place that I love everything. I can't even imagine what the pizza taste like! A must go, a must try & a must love. I'm very picky now that I'm pregnant but I'm so happy 2 know that I can go 2 a restaurant that's NOT disappointing.😍😍😍👍👍😆😎

After a week of camping in backwoods Michigan with no vegan options in sight, a ray of light named D'Angelo's Pizza shined brightly like a beacon calling me home. The menu here is extensive and masterfully crafted in a way that is not off-putting to any non vegan individuals but also very inviting to anyone that lives the vegan lifestyle like myself. I ordered the smoked Gouda and mushroom impossible burger on a pretzel bun which was all certified vegan and the vegan garlic bread. When I was presented with a meal fit for a God, I was pleasantly surprised by not only the portion size but also the care in preparation that went into the burger. It was a if the burger itself was a work of art, a passion if you will, and not just a meal. After demolishing the gift laid in front of me, I was able to speak with chef Dave and was exceptionally impressed with his dedication to his craft. He's an exceptionally knowledgeable man that goes above and beyond to provide his community with a better option than just your standard "Omni Diet". He even drives obscenely far to assemble all the ingredients to provide the best of the best for his customers. My hat is off to both him and this establishment of culinary perfection. Update: Food wise we are talking pretty much 5 stars all day long (except the fries- they are bland) but I discounted a star for customer service today.

I was left on hold for 4 minutes and then hung up on. I called back and she was about to put me on hold when I told her I'd just been hung up on so she left the phone on the counter as I waited 6 more minutes before someone picked up. I could hear everything and even though there were quiet times w/o customers, they didn't pick up. I could hear the phone ring and them answering other lines and telling them "please hold" while just ignoring my line. I mentioned I'd been on hold for over 9 minutes and they stated they were busy and that was that. Didn't offer a discount, apology, or anything. Not too pleased by that. Again, food is 5 stars all day but that experience didn't impress me much.

Original review: Their vegan mushroom swiss burger on a veggie patty is the THE BEST dang burger I've EVER eaten! We're working our way around the menu right now and just love everything (pizza, gyro, calzones). Our only complaint is the fries. For having such amazing food their fries are surprisingly bland. I hope they'll add some seasoning or switch it up in the future!
