Scotty's Sandbar — Restaurant in Bay City

Just had drinks and a couple of apps at Scott's sand bar. Ordered jalapeño cheddar pretzel bites that were just pretzels. The inside was empty. Sent them back and they gave us another order. 2nd order came out and again it was pretzel w no jalapeño cheese. It was just an empty hole in the middle. Ultimately talked to the owner and she said that the jalapeño cheese was inside them but we just couldn't see it. We eat out alot and spend alot of money on a weekly basis. I have never had an owner with such disregard for a paying customer. She told me that we could again get another order or take it off the bill. At this point I am just flabbergasted. I'm thinking to myself, she must be very special. She has about 20 ppl in her bar playing a euchre tournament, for which she is in. Outside of that, there is not 1 single paying customer. Staff has zero knowledge of the menu, although we loved our server. We will not go back there again. I'm certain most folks that have been there feel the same way. If she would like to sell me the establishment for a hundred grand or so, I would buy and turn it Into a gold mind, but until then she is just gonna keep running it Into the ground. I have never had this much of a horrible experience at a restaurant. The server got a 50% tip on the bill. I hate to say this, but the owner should probably just roll over and die. I am giving one star, only because I have to. The star reflects the live music that they offer. We visited once before and were disappointed that the staff and establishment did not respect the "No Smoking Law" of Michigan. When we complained at that time, they made a gesture of asking those numerous people to move to one end of the patio. It didn't help. We assumed that they were naive and didn't know they must enforce the law. Our second visit recently was much worse. The entire bar was empty with everyone on the patio.. The music and beautiful sunny day was our main reason for checking them out again. We soon realized after ordering a drink, but before our food, they allowed smoking. Illegally! ...No food was ordered at that point. When I asked the server if they would stop the smoking when we ate, we were told it's a "smoking patio ".. That is not allowed under the provisions of the law. She sent the manager. When confronted about the situation, he ignored my point of a 'law', and rudely informed us we would have to move into the empty establishment to eat and avoid smoke. He said the "Health Department didn't care"! Well.. We care. And there is a law protecting the workers and therefore, protecting patrons. I'm guessing if you are a smoker, you're thrilled with this review... Hopefully, the law catches up...

It's a great place however when the river is high the bar and parking lot are flooded how come no one put on the website that your bar is closed so that people don't just come here and waste their time and gas thank you just curious. Other than the situation with the water being around place and the bars closed in the bar doesn't same thing on the website other than we are open it's a great place in situations like this website...
