Update from July 2022: I got to the Shamrock. The ice cream was delightful, with many options, and the staff scooped it into our cones with generous love. It was worth the second trip.
Older: I'm sure it has great ice cream, but I have yet to have any. After dinner at Real Seafood last Saturday we asked our waitress to recommend a good spot for ice cream. She told us of the Shamrock and told us it was open until 10 pm, like it says on Google. It was ten after 9, so we had time to get there. We drove easily and arrived in 20 minutes. We got out of the car and approached the door. A couple was outside on a bench enjoying their giant cones. I said "This must be the place tonight." The woman said "Maybe it is, but I think it closes at 9:30." I reached for the door only to see a little kid inside, ice cream around his mouth, smirking as I tugged on the door, the locked door. "No!" But alas the door sign says it closes at the arbitrary time of 930. On a Saturday no less. I'll try again tomorrow and will upgrade this review if 1) it's open; and 2)...

On weekends and got days, be prepared for a wait, as they can be very busy! There is seating both outside and inside. Shamrock has a limited selection of bottled pop and water, but the ice cream shop is connected to the Ideal Party Store, so your drink selection is unlimited! Be aware that Shamrock does not have a public restroom. This is one of my family's favorite places to go...

A regular is $5.49, which is a bit bigger than a traditional white Styrofoam coffee cup you get at any school or church function. It's small for the cost.
