What a quaint, lovely ice cream shop! My family drive past on our way through Bayport and had to stop in for a scoop on our way back - so glad we did! The shop is a repurposed home with a history and tons of character! There is quite a bit of indoor seating, as well as lots of room outside at benches, tables, and other seats, (including a nicely manicured lawn, where you can also play bean bag toss/'bags'). There are a couple dozen flavor options, (and a couple of those are for people with food sensitivities). Serving sizes are larger than anticipated, and prices are certainly fair for a nice ice cream shop. The staff was friendly and helpful, too! The whole family enjoyed the ice cream, shop, and outdoor seating, and we look forward to stopping by again soon!🍦
Tip: They have a 'cheat sheet' for their sizing, so if you don't see one at the...

Built in 1890, the house has been impeccably renovated and still has its original woodwork and stained glass. Just walking through the door into the ice-cream display case area makes you happy. Though the main fare is ice-cream, the shop also sells coffee drinks and pastries. All are very good quality. There's plenty of seating indoors and outdoors with shaded areas so your ice cream won't melt too fast. The indoor seating spans two rooms and is a cozy mix of corner benches, small tables, and a leather couch. There is curated artwork on the walls. Upstairs is a shadowbox display of items found in the walls during the renovation so you can glean a bit of history and enjoy a treat all...
Read moreWe took a ride through Bayport and saw Mable's Ice Cream and Coffee, so we stopped. It was such a nice outdoor ice cream shop in a pretty town. They also have an indoor area, I guess, but we didn't go in there. They have nice tables and chairs to sit at in the yard. They even had corn hole to play. It is a house they made into the ice cream shop, so that was neat too. Lots of small families walking down the street and stopping there, too. The ice cream was amazing, probably the best I've ever had. They have flavors I've never heard of too, like Scotcheroo, Shipwreck, and Carmel collision, and they have at least 20 flavors or more, I should have counted! Their sugar cones were also the best I've had. We will take a ride there often! It's worth the 15...
