Rolling into Woody’s Bar and Grill in Stillwater, MN, is like finding a spare tire in the trunk - a true relief. The Goosey Burger was a flame-grilled masterpiece, reminiscent of the perfect tire tread - distinct and reliable. The BBQ sauce, not too sweet, complemented the fresh toppings like a well-oiled wheel. The stuffed mushrooms? Hot, cheesy, and as satisfying as the sound of a torque wrench securing a lug nut. And while the chicken sandwich was a tad dry, the plethora of sauces made it a full-bodied experience, much like choosing the right all-season tire for a smooth ride. The ambiance? My husband and I stopped at Woody's for an after dinner drink on our way home from Phil's Tara Hideway (which has excellent customer service so you might want to take note of that Woody's!!) on Saturday night 8/26 17 @ 6:09 p.m. We sat at the bar and were never acknowledged. The two women behind the bar were to busy having a conversation amongst themselves to even tell us they would be right with us. One of the women walked past us a few times . We looked at each other and said is it because we are not regulars?? Needless to say we left and went down the street to the Bungalow and had awesome service. Good food and and decent service !!! If you're in the area I recommend stopping in for a bite to eat or a drink !!!!!!!! We found this jem on some friends recommendation and they had decent Google reviews so we figured we would give it a try.. They have seating in the garage, or a nice sit down area with plenty of room for the whole family. We had the bloody Mary's and some apps and they were all amazing... They have tv's throughout the bar / restaurant and pull tabs in the bar area.. It's a great place to watch a game.. They have a bunch of bowling lanes which looked really fun..
