I called and asked if they were open and the young guy that answered told me yea and I explained to him we went to one of the other locations off Hwy 90 and Miller rd 2 and they told us that the lady that worked there was sick so they were closed! So we went to the one in Baytown and when we went inside the same young guy that I talked to on the phone was like we don't have sides! So I asked him why didn't you tell me that on the phone and he told me cause you didn't ask! 1. Why would I ask that, your not telling me anything to make me need to! And 2 i didnt ask you whwn i came in but you told me yall didnt so whats the difference? So I asked what the managers name was and he point at a young guy in front of him saying he was the manager, but the young guy he pointed at didn't seem to think that but then was like yea I'm the manager! Read moreWe have enjoyed barbeque from this store for quite a while. We always get fresh lean beef and spicy smoked sausage from here. Last week we were in the I-10 Hwy 146 area when we saw another branch Dickies and we stopped. My wife went in and ordered sliced beef and sausage as always. She told them to make sure the beef was lean. It was a to go order and we got our barbeque and left. We were heading west on I-10 when my wife told me the beef was full of fat and gristle. We had gone too far to go back but the other Dickies was right down the road. We stopped there and took the order in. We met with Phillip and Sam and they told us that Dickies were franchised and they had a different owner over there. We showed them the beef and they agreed with us and took it on themselves to replace the beef that was mostly fat. We really did appreciate their help and they didn't have to do it. We will be returning to their store...

I’ve always love Dickies BBQ pit, as I’ve eaten in many different locations. This specific location was expected to be the same- it wasn’t. When I got my food and opened up the plates, there was food missing from my order. To add on, there were bugs inside of the plates, causing me to throw the whole order away.
I called up there up about 10 times in a total of 3 days, where I was promised my money back. When I arrived in the building, the had bug flying all around open food including sides and meats. A worker was literally prepping another customers food, with a fly swatter in his hand. I asked about the bugs flying all around the food and insisted that maybe that was the cause of me having bugs in my meal.
Consistency is key, and being sanitary is very crucial given this time we are in....
