This taqueria impressed with its bold sauces and solid food, though it had some misses.

Atmosphere: It’s a budget taqueria with vibrant colors, 2x4 and painted plywood tables, and loud music from one speaker that drowns out conversation.

Staff: Friendly and courteous, but hard to hear over the music.

Sauces: The star of the show! A bowl of red tomato salsa, bursting with peppers and herbs, was delightful.

Three squeeze bottles stole my heart: a sweet zucchini-based salsa, a peppery mango blend, and a fantastic pineapple sauce. All natural, all perfect—I’d return just for these.

Entrees: Egg and bacon taco with bacon side (flour tortilla): A solid breakfast taco with well-cooked eggs and slightly crispy bacon. Nothing fancy but satisfying.

Chicken chilaquiles with potatoes and beans: Great sauce, but the chicken was overcooked and dry. Potatoes needed more time, and the beans were too soupy, though flavorful.

Poblano chicken mole enchiladas with rice and beans: The mole’s Valle de Bravo-like flavor was a hit, but the chicken was overcooked. Red Mexican rice was decent; beans were soupy but tasty.

Suggestions: Turn down the music, thicken the beans, and cook the chicken less. Don’t touch those sauces—they’re flawless.

Price: At $60, it’s a bit pricey for a taqueria, but the sauces and potential of other dishes make it worth a...

This new restaurant just came about give or take 3 months ago from July 2025 I like going here for breakfast, I spend about 30 bucks for 2 people which is typical.Seating is limited, sometimes it does get packed,, they have about 14 tables ,each seating about 4 max per table. They give you chips and 3 bottles of salsa ,with 1 salsa on the little bowl ,so a total of 4 salsa that you get with your chips. They make fresh tortillas, you can see the lady make them on the side by the window. I’m picky with flour tortillas, so my thought on them are; they could use a bit more salt in them because they are a bit bland. Service is good, very attentive, menudo tends to be a hit or miss. What kind of irks me is the music, it too loud, it’d be ideal to get surround system so the music can evenly distribute, but instead they have a karaoke system or a TV playing music. Temperature wise; if you like being in cold settings this might not be for you, the temperature doesn’t bother me at all, but it can get hot and for somebody that is hot blooded they might not feel comfortable. They installed 2 mini splits in the restaurant. Other than that you should check it out, I do...

We were in the area looking for a place to eat. We found this place purely by just driving by and checking the reviews. Since it was a cold day, we decided to all get menudo. My son got the chicken nuggets, kids plate. We were very happy to hear that The place had homemade flour and corn tortillas. They have a lady to the side of the front door that is making tortillas daily. We couldn't wait to have some flour tortillas. I enjoyed the flour tortillas, but they were not the best I have had, but good. We started with a bowl of chips and some homemade salsas that were very good. The menudo was really good too. We all enjoyed the menudo. My son enjoyed his chicken nuggets. It was a lot of food for him. They have fresh aguas too. Their service was very friendly, we were happy with the service they provided. I will definitely be returning and I recommend anyone in the area To try...

I dined in and I got chips with salsa, I knew that this was gonna kick, and the moment I took my first bite of my fajita a la Mexican time seemed to pause (like the ratatouille movie ) though not of my own past food tasting journeys , I’ve dined at countless Mexican restaurants, in so many places in the US yet none of them had such a tapestry of spice, depth, and soul. The earthy embrace of fresh tortillas, I’m still in awe—each bite was a revelation, a love letter to flavor itself. Idk how I wrote this much but I was speechless
