Subway — Restaurant in Beacon Falls

The Hours Sign and Google Page says they open at 9 am. Staff member walked in at 9:25 am and told me she would open in 15 minutes. I can’t even comment of food or service because I’m still waiting for them to open. UPDATE: waited 15 minutes and went in. I asked if they were open and the woman at the register said, “No, can’t you see the sign?” And pointed to the unlit neon Open sign. What kind of person shows up a half hour after opening time, tells customers they’ll be open in 15 minutes, and blames the customer when they come in? That woman is belligerent and should not be in any customer service job. Don’t waste your time with this store. I only stopped here because there’s nowhere else to go in the area, and I needed something to eat to take my medicine. I ended up having to go to McDonald’s, which I absolutely do not like. This place is an absolute disaster. I ordered a chicken sandwich, and somehow these careless people handed me beef instead. Not only is that completely unacceptable, it shows they don’t respect the customer at all. For many people, including me, what we eat isn’t just preference — it’s belief, it’s principle — and they couldn’t care less.

When I asked politely about the mistake, the staff’s attitude was nothing short of disgusting. Instead of apologizing or fixing their screw-up, they acted rude and dismissive, as if I was the problem. Excuse me? I’m the paying customer. You ruin my order, then you have the nerve to talk back?

This is the most unprofessional, careless, and disrespectful service I’ve ever seen. If you can’t even prepare the most basic order correctly and treat customers with a shred of respect, you don’t deserve to be in business. Absolute waste of...

I moved into Beacon Falls just under two years ago and adopted this small town Subway Restaurant in lieu of my busy lunch City Danbury-Main St. / Middlebury off 84 / Prospect (old location near the Pool place) mainstays, and I absolutely love the crew here. (Yes in New Haven County they can’t honor my Fairfield County Subway points, nor can I accrue them at the register, but that’s fine because I understand the Subway New Haven county districting restricts them from honoring these bonuses. I typically come in for dinner once or twice a month and continuously leave in such a happy mood. The food is hot, delicious, never a long wait, and the staff are cheerful and on their game.
