Frank's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Bear

If you're thinking about ordering food, this is the hidden gem you're looking for. Located right off Red Lion Road in Bear, this place is a minute away from Rt 1 and 13. We ordered for the first time last night, pizza and wings, and everything was perfect. The wings came in a styofoam container with plastic wrap so the sauce wouldn't leak, they were big and crispy. We ordered 3 pizzas, 1 sausage, 1 steak and 1 BBQ Chicken w/ pineapple (see pics). The crust was thin, cooked perfectly, a ton of toppings, cheese was spot on and the sauce wasn't overbearing. The lady at the front counter was very nice and we talked for a minute, and the 5 or 6 guys in the back were busy with orders. They have Italian dinners, salads, burgers, subs, steak sandwiches, appetizers, strombolis, calzones, and even calamari. We'll definitely be going back to check out their Italian...

Totally don’t understand all of the high reviews of this place. Someone recommended it so I tried it out. They can’t even make a sandwich correctly. My first order (large Buffalo Chicken cheesesteak with raw onions) had no Buffalo sauce. It was a dry sandwich with only raw onions and cheese. (buffalo sauce is kinda the main ingredient and was missing). It’s been a few weeks since this and I decided to try again. Called in and ordered the sandwich. I even told them they did not put the sauce on the sandwich last time, please make sure it’s on there, also raw onion and American cheese. Well, once again get home and it’s not correct. Buffalo sauce was there but with fried onions and no cheese. That’s it, no more, $35.50 for 2 subs and a fry and they can’t even...

Used to eat here very often, food quality has gotten worse over time and can't count how many times they forgot my cheese, for cheese fries. Something simple but it's not free and then fries go to waste. My biggest issue is the fact that they cannot figure out how to make eggplant parmesan, take it off the menu, don't charge loyal customers high prices for food that's almost inedible. Other than that they're very friendly over the phone and I try to support family business, they've even brought me my missing cheese before, so not all bad but certainly the chef could use some more skill or stop taking orders when it's overwhelmed in the kitchen.
