Hard Bean Beaumont Silos — Restaurant in Beaumont

After a Hard Week, we decided to try the HARD BEAN Coffee & Eatery on Eastex Fwy Friday afternoon. My husband had the Chicken Salad on Salad, a bag of Gourmet Chips, a Blueberry Muffin & a soda. My friend, Mary & I, had the Chicken Salad Wrap with lettuce & Raspberry Vinegarette Dressing, a bag of Gourmet Chips, a Smoothie & a cup of Organic Tea, (respectively), with a Spinach Danish. Everything, with one exception, was GOOD! The Smoothie was, I thought, supposed to be Peach, Pear & Apricot of which you could taste NONE of those flavors! Turns out, you are to pick only ONE of those three flavors. But, they only had PEACH. Our Server, Wesley, (I believe that was his name & I apologize if it is not), gave us EXCELLANT SERVICE! He made Mary another drink @ No Charge. The atmosphere was VERY RELAXING! There were two very comfortable chairs to just relax in. But, Henry wanted us to sit with him so he didn't have to eat alone. Service was great! Food was great! Atmosphere was WONDERFUL! I met one of my MK customers here. While I was there, I decided to try the berry salad and added chicken salad to it. Wow!! I highly recommend it. The only 'negative' thing was that there wasn't enough lettuce. But that is ok. I happen to have some spring mix at home that I added. I also grabbed 2 muffins. One blueberry and one French toast. (Not both mine) Very good. And they're big and delicious. The young lady behind the counter was very nice. So was the lady that later appeared with orders. I didn't take any photos on this visit. Maybe next time. There were a lot of sections on sale in the gift shop. I glanced in there while I was waiting...

Really nice coffee shop with a very laid back atmosphere! Comfortable furniture, as in chairs and a couch, and other seating options. Really great breakfast options and a wide variety of coffee selections from iced to Nitro! They have regular and flavored coffees, cappuccinos, frappeccinos, Latte's, Mochas, Expresso, just pretty much anything you might want, Redeye maybe? They have really great blueberry muffins and well as Croissant breakfast sandwiches. I really enjoyed just chilling here for a little while, the people are very friendly and helpful.
