Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Beaumont

Ordered 1 large pizza and 1 order of 8 wings, the person on the phone said that it would take 30-35 minutes for delivery. The delivery arrived an hour later. They also messed up our order by giving us 5 wings instead of 8. When we called them to tell them the mistake they’d done, they said we had three options: 1) wait for another 8 piece and return the 5 wings we received, 2) wait for another 3 wings to add to our 5, or 3) get a 3 dollar discount on our next order.

At this point, I had waited for our food for an hour and none of the options were acceptable for a mistake done on their part. I personally don’t understand what they would do with five wings that had already gone to a customer, and waiting another 30 minutes to however long it’d take for them to send another 3 wings was just not an option. We asked to speak to the manager, named Alex, who took her time to get to the phone. She then re stated the three options mentioned above. She was rude and unapologetic on a mistake done on their part.

The wings were ok, even though we found a hair on them after we hung up the call. I would give 0 out of 5 starts but apparently it isn’t an option....

Hadn't eaten Papa John's very much since moving from Mid County. Use to be my favorite pizza and decided to give it a try while at work in Beaumont. It's been a few years since I've had it and let's just say I was really disappointed. It started with the fact I was charged almost $13.00 for a small pizza. I accepted it cause of the memories of how good it was and figured it had to be a good size small., boy was i yet again disappointed. It was basically the same size as one of those poor people pizzas I get at Walmart in the little small cardboard boxes for like $1.59, except even those are better. The crust was so bland and just such a let down. Maybe the memory is always better than the actual thing idk , but for the price and quality I'll go with someone else next time. Had dream they would build a Papa John's near me but guess I'm over that dream now. Let me add though the young man that made my pizza and such was great. Really polite and pleasant to deal with..so at least customer service was on point.. excuse my dirty paws I...

Normally, I really enjoy the pizza and delivery service here. I've been a faithful customer and even have them on speed dial LOL. I enjoy the "Rewards" they have for orders as well. The quality is good and delivery fairly quick. However, today, I was disappointed. I had ordered extra toppings, but they seemed hardly existent! No extra cheese as I had requested (and paid for) and barely any of the other toppings. I called and the manager explained that since they have to cook it at a set temperature, they have to make sure that it all cooks evenly-- or something of that nature. She seemed dismissive and annoyed, and not concerned with handling the problem. She just wanted to shuffle me off to someone else to talk to, but whatever. I'll be looking around for another pizza place to order from. It's not so much the lack of toppings that prompted me to give such a low rating (we all mess up from time to time), but it was the manager's dismissive attitude and unwillingness to solve the problem that irked...
