1 Star review is because of the owner/manager and their terrible customer service experience! I will first start with the food was good, just a bit on the expensive side. The place was very empty but the dark ambiance was nice, the service from the waitress was fast, and every worker there was friendly and talking to us. The waitress accidentally charged my debit card twice & her print out said fraudulent charge. So came back to the table to tell me so I opened my bank account to see the exact same $117.21 charge twice. I showed the waitress this & she said she will get the manager. Once the manager comes over she points on the receipt to the fraudulent bold print, so I explained and showed her my personal checking account with the two charges & money already deducted from my account. To which then a "language barrier" occurred the manager said that the bank has my money, she doesn't & that I need to pay again to leave. The manager & waitress left to the front kiosk and I can hear the waitress even trying to explain the situation and going to bat for me. The manager then leaves for the back & the waitress comes back & relays the message that I have to give them another card & pay for the 3rd time to leave. So I gave another card from a different bank account to make things easier for when I dispute the charge with my bank. Once I left the restaurant I called the my bank with the 2 charges and we will be waiting for awhile until the money is back I to my account. For this type of fraudulent charge my bank now has to reach back out to the restaurant and get the refund, to which then comes back to me (if they do comply and give the refund). Mistakes 100% happen, but how this was handled was absolutely the worst experience ever. This was the first & last time coming here, the best local place for sushi is 21 sushi in Calimesa. That's the normal place I go to but decided to try something new today. Hopefully others can see this review and stay away from this place to not go through the same experience.

We didn’t order sushi yet we received ginger and wasabe before anything else, so I ate their ginger as my salad. First a bowl of miso soup came out , just one, then about 10 minutes later a basket of tempura. Another 10-15 minutes later the udon noodle soup ($15.99) comes out, then after another 10-15 minutes a bento box. It was a strange way to fill our order which left one of us watching while the other was eating part of their meal. I ordered spicy chicken, but got the bento 🍱 box ($18.99). This was my first time here, so I’m not sure if that’s how they serve all their main dishes… but the bento box was more like a lunch item. The udon soup left a lot to be desired. Hardly any noodles, lacking in flavor, just not that good. The staff seemed very neutral, very quiet, not a real warm and friendly place. Not a place I’d go back to.

She loves sushi 🍣 so of course we went to our local sushi restaurant. We have gone here plenty of times. Last time we went, we noticed their rolls were a little smaller. Today we got 9 rolls in total. 2 being special rolls that use to fit in a large box, Now small enough to fit together in a small box. 7 were california rolls for the kids to share, some had just crab meat and as small as a penny. Today they were two times smaller then normal. They did not taste as good as they use to. After last times experience and todays visit we will not be returning. We spent over $60 trying to help support our local businesses. I know times are hard, but cutting back on the quality of food is going to lose business!

I live right around the block from this place and so in a pinch if I am craving sushi I have gone here. It’s not the best but it’s not the worst so if I’m not wanting to take a long drive anywhere it has worked. I am really big on Customer Service, and the friendliness from the staff has never been excellent, so more often than not, I have taken my order to go about 95% of the time. I am not a fan of imitation crab, so I always order a Philadelphia roll for myself without crab, and I am a sissy when it comes to spicy food so I always order the garlic edamame without any space. Twice in a row now they have definitely not kept the spice off of it. twice now they have staffed that crab meat into the rolls I have ordered. I called to voice my concerns, and the person I spoke to seemed frustrated about my call, and explained to me that she had customers waiting. Lol my expectation was obviously that they were going to just asked me to take it back, and they would replace it, for my actual order. after she reminded me again that she had to go and didn’t understand what the point of my call was, I asked her what she was going to do about it, and she explained to me that she is only the one that takes the order- it’s her boss that actually makes the food not her lol I told her that I certainly wasn’t going to blame her for making it, I didn’t assume that it was her running the orders and making the food, and I asked if there was anything that was to be done about it and she told me that I can go back over there and she can talk to her boss? My friend is in town today, and insisted on having sushi and it is almost 10 o’clock at night and normally I don’t pay attention to the prices on the menu, because I know what I like to order, and normally I pay with my card. I am waiting for my bank card in the mail so I knew that I was going to be paying with cash, I walk in with about $80 after looking over what the menu said would be my total and enough for a $10 tip. To my surprise, I go inside and place my order to take home and the bill is about $105. Obviously, I thought that something must’ve been taken down incorrectly. She reads it back and everything is right and I told her that I didn’t understand why it would end up being over $25 more than I predicted based on the menu. She explained to me that the menu they have is incorrect, and they are continuing to use the ones they have until they run out even though the prices are wrong on it. What??? Lol Like my previous experience wasn’t bad enough - I was dumb enough to give them another chance and here I am. She was not the normal female that works there most of the time, she is a bit younger, I explain to her that what they are doing is completely inappropriate and dishonest. She said she completely agrees and understands, but there’s nothing she can do about it. I told her to call her manager, and she explained to me that she was at their other restaurant in Yucaipa. She calls them and the person on the phone says that they are 100% going to charge me the new full price of the order, no exceptions. It does not matter to them that the pricing on their menus is off by quite a bit at this point. If I didn't have a guest at home waiting for their food I would have told them they could keep their mediocre food that is incredibly over priced at this point. I instead went and got the difference from inside of my vehicle and ended up paying the full price. Not only was it completely dishonest for them not to be transparent about the prices on the menu being incorrect, the very least they could have done was apologize and could do a lot better than continuing to use old menus just because they don’t want to pay for new ones yet. For as overpriced as they are and as understaffed as they always are-they could afford to be more transparent and not continue to use old menus just to save some money on printing. The person on the other end of the line was so extremely rude, as is the older woman that usually works at this Beaumont branch. I am literally never...

I placed an order on the evening of 08/06/2022, was told that it would be ready in 15 to 20 minutes. I show up 20 after the call to find that my order hadn't been put in and the young kid working the cashier apologized saying they were slammed even though there was only 4 families dining in. He assured me that the order would take no longer than 10 to 15 minutes to make. 45 minutes later a different lady, short with short brown hair brings my order and when I ask if everything was there, she rudely says you are more than welcome to double check my work. Not trying to make a scene and taken back by her attitude, I leave with my order. Once I get home I find that 3 Rolls are missing, the miso soup is luke warm and all of the side sauces I asked for are not there. After speaking with the cashier via telephone, he was very apologetic and kept saying they were so slammed and offered me a refund. I accepted the refund offer but was informed that their manager could only process the refund and that she was not in until the end of the shift. 3 days later, no refund. I called again and asked to speak with the manager, the kid that answered the phone had a snarky attitude wanting to know why I wanted to speak with them then suddenly the manager wasn't in and he could take a message and have the manager call back. Of course no call back, called again 2 days later and got the same run around that no manager was in. Called again 1 week after the first call was made and was told the manager was working at their new Yucaipa location, so I called there. Was told She was the sushi chef for the evening and would call back, again no call back. I was left no choice but to dispute with C/C company. I ate here regularly and the food has always been good, but they are really lacking in...
