I have been to this venue numerous times for dinner. The menu is varied with many wonderful appetizers, salads and soups. The entree's whether its steak, seafood or poultry is always very pleasing to that palate and presentation is appetizing. The wine list may be a bit limited but the wines that they do serve are very good. I love their lavender martinis as a signature drink! As to some of the negative comments on service, every restaurant has an off night. I have been 5 times over the last 1.5 yrs and the service has always been attentive without being over bearing. To me the service is more of a european style where the waiter/waitress is not hovering over you every moment. Whenever we needed something I would just nod to the server and they would come and see what we needed. The ambiance is quiet and classy and represents a place where I do not have to deal with a noisy background and conversations can be maintained at a normal speaking volume. There can always be room for improvement but given the range of reviews mine is on the high side for a very unique Inland Empire experience. As for a one star review because of a martini served in a plastic cup? That review renders glowing comments on the food, service and ambience but the patron was annoyed because they served his martini in a plastic cup. My response to that review is that has never...
Read moreTHIS IS ONE OF OUR FAVORITE RESTAURANTS - it is defiantly our FAVORITE in Beaumont - The service is awesome. We love going for Burgers & Beer (on Wednesdays and Thursdays). If you want a quiet time for Burgers & Beer then go on Wednesday. We have been on Thursdays when they have the music too and everyone they have had playing are good, but we have found it too loud & we can't talk at all. Other than that - the burgers are AMAZING. Try the Portabella Mushroom burger! For a more "fine dining" eat in the dining room - especially at sunset - The menu is all good - I LOVED the Cauliflower Steak found on the Menu under "Entrees" - was very very good. Also you must try, when they have it - Oven Roasted Jerusalem Artichokes Creamy soup - WOW! - which they make the soup from their "side dishes" of the same name "Oven Roasted Jerusalem Artichokes - have never had Jerusalem Artichokes before this place - they are a creamy texture (much different than regular artichoke hearts) - with almost the texture of buttery fingerling potatoes but the flavor is ssssooo good. This is a very much MUST DO restaurant. Summer time, June, they have the Lavender Festival, and later in summer they have their Wine Tasting event - all fun.. Check out their Calendar...
Read moreMy husband & I decided to try a new place for our "date night"! We were VERY PLEASED! We ate in the main dining room, however, after we ate, we went into the comfortable & relaxing bar area to hear a few numbers from the talented, Nu Beginnings! We wished they were there after 8 PM!! (Kinda early!!) The friendly wait staff and management were very knowledgeable about the items on menu and could explain well various items well. Once the hors d'oeuvres were served we were AMAZED!! (Pan seared scallops & crab cakes) They were FRESH (even saw a kitchen staff cutting fresh herbs from the garden area as we entered) a variety of unusual veggies and an array of color were displayed on our plates beautifully! Then the main entree came, we had lamb & salmon----FABULOUS!!! Again, beautiful color, cook perfectly, not to dry and GREAT FRESH HERBS!! Didn't have room for desert---next time. Everything was so beautiful to look at that I even took some pictures to post on Facebook!! GREAT, GREAT, GREAT date! We hope to be back soon. Thanks everyone for a wonderful evening to add to...
