Old Scratch Pizza & Beer — Restaurant in Beavercreek

It could have been a lot better. They took a place that was very nice inside and gutted it! There's really no convenient places to sit an individual groups and I don't want to sit community style. No nice booths just hard chairs and hard benches at long picnic table looking things. I guess it's just not my kind of place because I'm not looking for a pizza sports bar I'm looking for a pizza restaurant. It's not just about the food it's about enjoying the experience because we only dine-in because that's what we enjoy. I think places who cater to a sports bar environment should not be just a pizza place with basically just Pizza & hoagie style food but should have a full traditional menu like a regular sports bar I guess it's that BEER part and I don't drink beer because I think it tastes terrible so I'm just in it for the food and the dining room experience. From the looks of their crowds every time I drive by plenty of people are okay with beer and pizza and sitting wherever on...

Very disappointed!! This was our first time ordering from old scratch. There were hardly any toppings on the pizzas. It said that it had a garlic butter crust, there was no garlic butter on the crust. The crust reminds me of cardboard and It actually tasted like cardboard. I thought the pizza was baked in a brick oven it had no flavor of being baked in a brick oven. I am Italian and have had traditional Italian brick oven pizza this is not your traditional Italian brick oven pizza. We were told that the order would be ready at 6:30 we didn’t get our pizza until after 7:00. The little amount of toppings that were on the pizza were just thrown on there. This pizza is definitely not worth the price. I also paid 50 cents extra a piece for a side of ranch and garlic butter. I did not get my garlic butter and my ranch was tossed in the box and smashed where the lid came off and ranch was all over the box. Make sure you check your pizza...

We came in for lunch and were so excited to do a greek themed lunch with hummus as a app and the monthly special pizza " Gyro " . I got a lime and coconut fruit beer that was absolutely delicious and tart as we waited on the $10 hummus appetizers. It looked pretty impressive coming out but the bread was so hard it was crunchy and tough as leather to pull apart , the actual hummus was disappointing because of the lack of flavor , super bland. definitely not recommended .

Then this gorgeous pizza arrives and blows us out of the water ! Seriously wish the Gyro was a permanent staple here . It was so tasty and refreshing on this hot summer day .

Service got a 2 star because it just seems like the workers are just kinda there , not super interested in helping anyone , made us feel unwelcome and like we were bothering them for wanting to eat here . It was definitely a bummer .
