Located midway between Lambertville and Temperance in the Historic Liberty School Plaza, Bedford Townships' newest Mexican restaurant, MI RANCHITO. Hearing that they were now able to serve spirited drinks, I was eager to taste their concoction to the ever complicated, three ingredient margarita. Unfortunately, their recipe is the same that can also be had at one of the Co-owners other Mexican restaurants just across the Stateline in Point Place, OH. The atmosphere boasts a beautiful, colorful mexican theme with unique, artful booths that have ample room surrounded by hand painted murals. The music being played was at a perfect volume and instrumental Mexican themed, just the kind I like when choosing establishment like this. Now, let's get to the food shall we... The salsa was different, kind of a cross between LaChalupa (mentioned above but not named) and El Nuevo (the other Co-owner) in West Toledo. It had a strong tomato taste, reminded me of viscous tomato soup actually, so I loaded it with their red and green sauces to liven it up a bit. For my entree, I chose to try the Burrito California. Just like their Chile Colorado Wet Burrito, it was massive in size and sure to satisfy a grown man with an appetite. This makes my 4th experience here and I haven't been disappointed with any of the authentic dishes ordered. I'm a quesadilla guy and Mi Ranchito's doesn't disappoint my taste buds with this appetizer that fit for a nice size lunch!
If you haven't been here yet, give it a try as I'm sure you will be pleased in what you get. Bon...
Read moreSo sad we wanted to like this place! First off they put us in a corner in a secluded area so our server forgot about us. On top of that our appetizer never got brought out and our server let us know the kitchen never received it. We put our food order in and it took almost 40 minutes. After that I had to walk myself to get a refill for my boyfriend and I. A new male server came in took the next 3 tables seated by us they’re service was immediate they received their food in less then ten minutes and even told his customers it would take that long and it did just as that. Super bummed our experience weren’t like the others we...
Read moreThe place used to be great. The only thing that's changed since then is the prices for everything have gone up, portion size has gone down and service is no where to be found. I recently went in there and sat down, the server offered a refill on my soda but neglected to tell me I would be charged another $2.50! Not a huge deal but when I used to go in there and get tacos for $2 with free chips and free refills, to $4 tacos and I have to pay for my chips and my drinks that come in a cheap 12oz plastic cup, I'm good. The only thing they got going for them is the fact their closest rival in town...
