The Lincoln Highway Creamery — Restaurant in Bedford Township

I went to the creamery about 3x this summer. The owner must know this. The you girls that took my order was very rude and acted put out. Last night I went for the pistachio ice cream. A young lady with long straight hair was waiting on a elderly man who was inside. I stood at the window and a girl with curly brown hair stood there doing absolutely nothing but fiddling, looked at me and that's it. When the other girl finished she turned around and saw me and told the other one to wait on me. I plainly told the girl that I would like a small twist in a bowl. She put it in a cone and dumped it upside down in a bowl. I was sitting at a table and after the crowd thinned out both of the girls came out with the trash leaving the store unoccupied as they trotted off to drop one bag of garbage. Meanwhile, there were 2 or 3 customers standing in line with no one to wait on them. .

I think the owners need to be there to supervise young kids to see how their employees work. I am done. Won't be patronizing...

My family and I come camping several times throughout the summer to friendship Village and it’s been a wonderful tradition to get ice cream from your creamery every night. There are five of us so we are spending a lot of money on ice cream. Last year, (2024) the staff was very friendly and always got our orders perfect! This year, it has been a challenge to get our orders right, and some of the staff have not been friendly. Several different trips, and we have had an upside down banana split without the bananas and we received a strawberry shortcake sundae instead of a strawberry cheesecake sundae. Today we ordered two s’mores sundaes and didn’t get what the description said on the menu. We didn’t want to complain but simply wanted to let the girl know what happened, because this is now the third time in three days. She was not nice at all. Fast service. Large menu. Portions are huge!! Reasonably priced. Product was delicious!

Update 5/22: Still a good product, however questionable business practices. The only legitimately sent a Facebook message asking for the alteration of a review to not allow the competition to know their menu. As a parent who travels with two rambunctious kids, I love to know what my options are at establishments for several reasons. First, is there something unique offered? But also will my kid enjoy it and price point. Instead of asking for alteration, this establishment should be proud of the product and quality they have to offer not about competition knowing what they have because a patron posted their menu. Sure people can replicate it but is it the same quality as yours?! Be confident, your competition if they really want has already visited you to...
