Ate at Drifters for the first time today. Walking in I had high hopes. The atmosphere seemed fun, the outside patio was right on the water and the decor was festive. That's pretty much where the good ends. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak with shrimp, my wife ordered the smoked wings and we ordered two chicken tacos to try since they were half off. My Philly was ok. Kind of soupy and didn't really have to chew it. My wife's chicken wings were burned and dry. I couldn't believe they would even serve them looking like that. The chicken on the tacos was very dry and burned as well. We told the waitress about them and she said she would get some more for my wife. At that point my wife just wanted a burger. I was able to eat my Philly and one of the tacos before her burger came out. My wife was over the whole experience and asked for our check because she was ready to go and didn't want their food anymore. The waitress brought the check and my wife's burger. My wife looked at her said she wasn't going to eat it now since I was done and she was frustrated at the wings and then how long it took for a burger to come out. The waitress apologized and left the check with us. Also, she only checked on is once after we notified her if the wings. My wife's tea was empty and was never refilled. The only thing taken off the check was the burned wings. I will not come back. The customer service was horrible and the food wasn't much better.

We ate there on a Friday night arriving at 7:20pm. It seemed that many tables were finishing up and leaving shortly after we were seated. Our party of 9 was seated at 2 outside tables, which worked for billing purposes. Our table's (5) drink orders were taken. Only one of us got a mixed drink. Another waiter asked if we'd ordered water and even though we said no, he said we could have the ones on his tray. This ended up being great because it took a while before any of us got our drinks. We ordered appetizers that seemed to come out in a good amount of time, 2 pretzles with dips. However, it took a while before we were able to put the food order in, and even longer to get the food ordered, we all ordered sandwiches. When the other table in our party finally got their food, one of them accidentally had their tacos spilled. This person got a new order of tacos before we were served our food. Our chips were all soggy. We ordered my daughter fries. It was like we got 3 good ones and the rest were the tidbits from the bottom of the bag. Each person said the food was ok but not worth the wait or coming back to try again. We finally left at 9:10 (used my Google app, a phone call and pictures to track timing). It's not a place I'd likely return to. I only got a picture of the kids' pizza.

Spent an enjoyable afternoon with lifelong friends @ Drifter's last Saturday. I enjoyed the Chicken Quesadia and my buddy enjoyed the Hippie Wrap. Jordan Floyd is the master behind the kitchen line and everything was delivered to our table warm, tasteful and with excellent presentation. Emma was our waitress. She is the epitome of southern hospitality. We never waited for a refresher on a beverage and she kept a watchful eye on us sans being intrusive. Perfect! The music and performance of Tate Tuck is required reading for all those who love a smooth mix of musical genres with waterfront feel. Tate is scheduled for more appearances at Drifter's throughout the summer and his soulful baritone voice that can jump to tenor in a snap with intricate guitar work explains why he was booked for opening weekend. Drifter's is family and dog friendly and provides nice little items on the menu for the kids and your furry family member. In a nutshell: Drifter's has the best crew on the lake! Dinning on the bulkhead with resort marina views is absolute pleasure. Thank you Jaclyn and Ryan for an always warm, fun and pleasant experience. (Try the crab cake sandwich! The best on SML!)

We arrived 30 minutes before they opened and placed our name down for a party of 9. We were seated promptly at 11 am. The atmosphere definitely gave off a beach bar vibe (which I enjoyed). The music volume changed frequently and sometimes was too loud. Furthermore, the music selection sometimes was a little intense and caused us not to be able to talk to our party, without yelling or feeling agitated. The waitresses shouted across the restaurant several times. Not joking, they literally shouted as they were standing right beside me. I don’t recall seeing our waitress or other staff members smile.

Our food was good. I ordered the Bedford landing burger and the meat was seasoned well and cooked as requested. I think the price of the burger was a little high, considering chips were given with the meal instead of a true standard side. It took about 40 minutes for our food to arrive to the table. The restaurant’s computers crashed and we were told to wait until they came back on before we could leave. This was unacceptable. We should not have to wait in order to give someone money…furthermore, no discount was offered after we waiting an additional 30 minutes until we stated we had to leave and another option should be given to us for payment. We then had to restate what we ordered to our waitress and she was gone again for an additional 10 minutes before we paid with cash and left. Neither the waitress, nor the manager, apologized about the inconvenience. I was disappointed with the lack of customer...

Great food, great service, lousy boat docking. I had heard good things about Drifters and decided to give them a try last Saturday. The food was fantastic. Mostly pub grub type of food so don't expect fine dining but for a casual lake place it was excellent. Great service as well. However we came by boat and the boat docking is horrible. I don't have an enourmous boat but I have a 23 foot boat and it was extremely tight getting into the docking space. The docks had no rubber dock edge. There are no cleats to tie up to and not even full slips just a piling sticking out of the water, no dock on either side so we could only get on or off the front of my boat. Some spaces had a rotted piling which only stuck up about 8 inches out of the water. It appears that most of the marina which by the way has much better docking over all, is reserved for people who rent the slips. There was only about 7 or 8 feet behind us and a boat docked on those slips. So back and forth and back and forth etc etc to get into our space. There were only 2 spaces available for guests when I got there, granted it was lunch time, but it looks like there were only about 5 or 6 total guest spaces. Because of this, I gave them 3 instead of 5 stars. I would not come here by boat again and don't recomend you do either unless your boat is under 18 feet and you are comfortable maneuvering in tight spaces. Probably not too bad with a...
