Habanero Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Beecher

This is not an actual restaurant that has a waitress serve you. We literally ordered our food, waited at our table, once it was done she called us to the counter to come get our plates. We also got our own drinks, PLASTIC fokrs and when asking for a knife she gives us a butcher knife the cooks use because they didn't have any. I asked for a side of sour cream, which she said would be a $1 extra, even though I ordered a quesidilla that usally should come with sour cream and salsa. But whatever. The food was good and then realized our credit card was charged $7.27 more than the total she said when we paid. She added a 20% gratuity without telling us...it DOES NOT state that on their menus and also she NEVER even WAITRESSED or served us. I personally did all that myself. I'll never go back there. Horrible way of scamming people. It also smelt...

Why do people think "small town, high price" like it should be cheap when you purchase in a smaller town. Cost the same or near the same as if you bought in a "larger town". This place has outstanding flavor in all their meals. Great portions and very quick friendly service. If Habanero's didn't have everything going for it, it would not have survived as this is a small town and if you can't cut it, you'll close soon. Just look around at how many places tried it and failed here. If you aren't priced right, have good food and aren't friendly, you're done. If the locals don't support you, it's because you don't have it right. So folks, come find out what authentic Mexican food tastes like, and don't forget the salsa, it's out...

Great authentic Mexican food. If I could eat from here everyday I would. The hard shell tacos are gold. The shrimp tacos are my wife’s go to. Can’t leave without a bag of chips and salsa.

Update: The hardshell tacos have been changed and aren’t nearly as good as before. Habaneros please change back!

Update #3. Ordered 7 tacos and a chips and salsa. Got to the register and $44.67. I about lost my marbles. To top that off, they were out of cilantro. Fancy that, a Mexican restaurant out of cilantro. Extremely disappointed in the price increase and shortage of...
